Aussie - where was that taken? Looks like my kinda party!
It was a mates bucks night, that girl Nikki does waitressing at a lot of our functions. She is very efficient at bringing you a fresh beer.
I believe she was actually Miss Nude WA last year (and a mate told me that's she competing again this year, although I'm not sure how many different ways you can't take your kit off?).

Haha - here you go then boys here's some amateur photography.
Although I didn't actually take the photo myself. But after you look at the photo for quite a while you will notice that there is a guy in blue in the photo as well - that's me.
(Mods not too sure how this fits with the site rules so I presume you will delete it if you feel it's inappropriate. Although I read that James said DTJ was away at the moment, so maybe you and Neemo will let it ride for a while

This is puss!!!!
Seriously, what goes on in record companies these days, they are full of muppets.
Why the fuck would they re-release it, what a waste of time and money by the UK operation. Some dick probably got a fat bonus for coming up with such a stupid idea for increasing sales.

monkeychow, I was there for that argument. It was one of my last visits to the site before I totally abandoned ship. I have nothing against Jarmo as a person. We keep in touch on MySpace, but I don't care for what his site's become and I've told him that. It is what it is.
lol - yeah I remember that thread too.
I agree it's a shame what happened to the place, I pretty much stopped posting there except for the odd post in the Appetite for Collection section which I still have an interest in.
I pretty much stay out of the main thread and even the VR threads because I found it pointless. I would much prefer discussing those sort of topics here.
On a side note I would be really curious as to what the GN'R camp actually think of how he runs the site now. If it was me I would be a bit concered because I think the site has gone too far and is much too heavy handed and one eyed, to the point where it actually does the band a dis-service.
Just my 2 cents - I agree too Von " it is what it is"
#2586 The Garden » Driver Buckles Up Beer - Not Five Year Old! » 893 weeks ago

Man I laughed hard when I read this. It comes off the back of another story a couple of weeks ago where a helicopter left a child behind so that they could fit all the beer onto the helicopter.
http://www.livenews.com.au/articles/200 … earold_boy
A driver who buckled up his slab of beer - but not the five-year-old boy sitting next to it - has shocked police who pulled him over near Alice Springs.
Constable Wayne Burnett said he was "shocked and appalled" when he pulled over the Holden Commodore on the Ross Highway south of the desert town on the weekend.
"I haven't ever seen something like this before," he said.
"Sure we get beer out of vehicles that is being taken into restricted areas but this is the first time that the beer has taken priority over a child."
He said the driver of the car "just looked at me blankly" when he was handed a $750 fine for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and failing to ensure a child is wearing a seatbelt.
"He didn't get it," Const Burnett said.
"I asked him about the fact the child was unrestrained and the beer was, and he said he didn't know anything about it."
Const Burnett said there were five people in the car, including the child, along with the 30 pack of beer.
"There were four adults in the car, two in the front seat and two in the back seats and in between those adults there was the carton of beer strapped in with the belt," he said.
"The child was sitting in the lump in the centre, unrestrained."
Superintendent Sean Parnell of Alice Springs police said he was appalled by the incident.
"This serves as a timely reminder to all drivers to ensure they wear seatbelts and ensure as is their responsibility that all passengers in their vehicle are secured in the appropriate manner," he said in a statement.

"Unknown Song" Razz May 2006 1999-2006
What's this?
It is supposed to be Checkmate - it's not the full song just a short clip of it.
#2588 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Official Leaks Guide » 894 weeks ago
There is a really low quality demo of IRS, it was the very first circulating one - is that the Piazza/Trunk one? It's really shit quality though.
As for TWAT I have 4 versions. I have the 1999 version, plus MSL's version, plus a shortened version of the song plus another full version. I also have these last two short and long versions as instrumentals as well.
There are also IRS and Better instrumentals.
Wasn't that short clip from Razz called Checkmate?

Neemo, I think you have been slightly misinterpreting Merck's words as well ....here is his quote about the negotiations.
"The record company refused to conclude the renegotiation until we were READY to hand over the FINISHED album and refused to prepare a marketing campaign or commission video treatments until they had it in their hands. This is still their position as of this week."
Two parts to the equation....album is finished and ready to be handed over, thus they are negotiating. Matches up with what Beta and Mysteron said. Now, the second part is after the renogotiation they will work on marketing, video etc. Translation...Axl hasn't given them the record.
And I think this is the scary thought. Axl has shown them the finished product and the record company have said they are happy with it. Now there are ongoing negotiations most likely about money and potential marketing which is causing a stalemant. Until this is resolved Axl won't physically hand over the masters coz once he does everything is out of his control.
This stalemate could stretch on for months/years. Plus I would assume there is nothing to stop Axl changing him mind during this time and going back into the studio to rework/rec-record things as he likes to do.
#2590 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Baz: Joining VR would be "really awkward" » 894 weeks ago
I still reckon they tested Bach out again before those final VR UK dates but once again it didn't work out.
Now that the rumours are out there about him possibly getting the gig (when he knows he's not going to) he is in damage control trying to save his relationship with Axl. But if VR gave him the green light I'm sure he would have seriously considered doing it - loyalty my ass.
"He's helped me out my whole career" - where was his loyalty then when he tried out for VR the first time.
