Cool, welcome aboard Rachel!
#2572 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » VR new singer news (sort of) from snakepit .org » 890 weeks ago
What has fallen through, the website or the singer Slash had in mind? And why would the website be so expensive?
I still reckon the singer Slash had in mind before they went to the UK was Bach. It fits with his phone call that he had an orgasm over whilst he was doing a radio interview. It also fits with his comment about talking to Slash but saying he wasn't asked to join "Velvet Revolver" - in my opinion that's because VR are going to chose a new name once they appoint a singer. So strictly speaking he wasn't lying but at the end of the day it's simply semantics and he (Bach) was trying to save face with Axl.
I agree it kinda seems like the "Top 5" is out. Otherwise why would they go for this online audition shit.
Personally I think any online audition stuff etc etc is lame and a really pissweak money grab attempt. FFS just audition some people and pick the best person then move on from there. Don't try and make a quick buck from some amateurish online audition or reality show etc etc. Please leave a little integrity and some mystique!
#2573 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Guns N' Roses Tour Overview 1984-2007 » 890 weeks ago
I'm curious about the 2nd time One in a Million was played. I know it was played and have a copy of the CBGB's accoustic show, but when was the second time and is there any audio or video of it?
#2574 Re: Guns N' Roses » Robin back in NIN. Temp or not is the question? » 890 weeks ago
We definitely ain't seeing CD anytime soon (not that I thought otherwise).
I am proud to announce the final personnel lineup of nine inch nails for the foreseeable future. We've added, we've subtracted and we've wound up with unquestionably the strongest lineup I've EVER had. Joining me onstage will be Robin Finck, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Freese and Justin Meldal-Johnson.
We've been working on something really special for these shows and so far I couldn't be happier with the results. We'll be revealing some live performances shortly here on nin.com - in the meantime, we've posted some photos from rehearsals up on Flickr here.
Meanwhile, I assume some of you may not be entirely familiar with the acts I've chosen to join us on various legs of this tour, so we've compiled a sampler EP for you. CLICK HERE to download this for free. If you like what you hear, be sure to show up early to the show (and please remember to support them by purchasing their music, if so inclined).
Best,
TR
Some pics of Robin rehursing as well:

Q: I wanna get a straight answer directly from you about the whole thing with VELVET REVOLVER and you..I am tired of all the internet rumors about the whole thing. Have they contacted you lately?
Bach: I have talked to Slash recently about collaborating on music, but not VELVET REVOLVER. I cannot say what the details are, but Axl Rose has helped me and this band more then anyone eklse in the music industry. It would be very akward to sing in VELVET REVOLVER being such close friends with Axl. More importantly, I like "Angel Down" more than VELVET REVOLVER music.
So Slash talked to Bach about being the singer of "The Project V 2.0" then, not "Velevet Revolver".
It's semantics.
I agree with you too russtcb, money definitely figures into his equation otherwise he wouldn't have got so uptight about Angel Down sales figures and telling everyone to go buy it and not download it.
Personally I don't think money is a dirty word, you can say that sure you want to make music that you are proud of but you also want to turn a dollar out of it. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.

I think it's awesome that tribes like that still exist. I was fascinated when I heard about it and saw the photos.
It must have been pretty terrifying for them when they saw the chopper!

I vote for Chris Ballew
#2578 Re: Guns N' Roses » Baz talks about the general and the "trilogy" » 892 weeks ago
I just want one album out and toured and the whole stupid saga to be done and dusted.
The sooner that happens the better! Nobody is getting any younger so before someone needs a zimmerframe on stage or worse dies, lets get this pathetic thing over and done with so we can move on to the only exciting and potentially productive thing left in the GN'R world - a reunion.

This is a thread for me to post fresh new pics of hot babes. It's a lot like Lofton's old thread, but not. It's mine and I'm particular. Consider this like one of those celebrity blogs, but without the annoying words that accompany the hottness. If you like what you see, then contribute. Now let's get this thing up and running the right way

LoL, I love how the mods are just ignoring this thread. But the minute I add my dick pic, they'll swarm.
Yeah I kinda wondered if I was pushing the boundaries a bit with the pic.
Sorry too for dragging the thread off track Tommie.
I really like the dog pic it looks cool, particularly the way his head is angled slightly almost with an enquiring sort of look.
