They played Catcher last night in Vancouver.

It's almost certainly nothing but I notice GNR's snapchat vids this morning were of the band rehearsing in Edmonton for the show tonight.

Nothing unusual in that except that Axl was there and singing with them as well, which you don't often see. They also seemed to have muted the sound on the vid. Could be Axl didn't want his soundcheck voice being recorded on snapchat or who knows maybe they were trying out something different?

Just idle speculation on a boring Wednesday afternoon 19

I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of GOT of old, back to politics and deception.

Hope there's no Tyrion heel turn but it looks like it's leading that way. Although this possible jealousy story seems to have sprung up out of nowhere, unless that was his motive for getting rid of Daario as well but there was no suggestion at the time that was his reasoning.

The Sansa/Littlefinger story has felt like a mess for some time so I'm glad they've put it out of its misery.

I'd expected this season to end exactly as it did at the wall, but it was still awesome to see.

Awesome review Brett, glad you enjoyed the show 5

I saw the director of the episode has even acknowledged that they were seriously pushing it with plausability with timescales. He said they tried to keep it ambiguous as the permanent twilight of beyond the wall didn't really indicate how many hours/days had passed.

It was imo one of the best battle sequences they've done. Shame the mechanics of making it happen were a bit lazy.

It's amazing how much they're cramming in now when they spent so much time doing not much in season 5/6. I really think they were relying on more source material from George and have now realised it won't come and are now in a situation where they need to develop a lot fast in order to wrap the story up.

With that said this last episode was incredible.

The dragon resurrection from the lake was just amazing.

Which dragon was it that died btw Viserion?

I was fully expecting the other dragon to save Jon and him ride it to safety rather than Benjen. What happened to the third dragon btw, it seemed to disappear after its brother died?

This might end the Tyrion riding a dragon theory?

Again I disagree. There'll always be another lukaku but there will never be another ibra.

& with ibra you're guaranteed a return. lukaku on the other hand has only delivered in patches.

Show pony?! He's a champion, a winner & an elite profession who sets the tone- lukaku is none of those things.

Jose didn't fancy lukaku before.. he's won a scudetto with ibra & I think maybe ibra finished top scorer that year too?? I'm not a utd fan but even I'm excited by this. I wouldn't be excited by lukaku..

Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Prem, he's box office.

However if I was a Man utd fan I'd rather we looked elsewhere. At 35 how many seasons could he give you, all the while younger long term talent is overlooked because Zlatan has the no.9 shirt. Lukaku by contrast is 23, has his best years ahead of him and is proven in the Prem, averaging a goal every 2 games in generally ordinary West Brom and Everton teams.

For me Lukaku is a signing for long term success. Zlatan is a short term bums on seats signing.

Can't see Lukaku happening now Mourinho is there anyway as you said.

Looks like Mourinho agreed with both of us in the end divney 16

I think TSI is the best sounding GNR album of the lot and again Clink was at the helm.

In a perfect world a new GNR album with Slash/Duff would have that kind of crisp sound. I've no idea if Clink is even in the picture anymore he may not even be in Axls good books.
