Well its definitely not song 2 from the leaks...and august 25th seems very soon, I find this very hard to believe. Crazy how many rumors there are though.

Im not sure they would say the guy has nothing to do with them if he was an employee...but I guess it could be possible. Maybe we'll have to wait for further information to settle it either way.

They're games developers...and they're making jokes about it - its hardly a conference either just a minor mention in some forum. I thought this was real at first but now I'm convinced it isnt. I dont see why a guy at E3 would be talking about it like that either. I guess time will tell, but I just dont see this as legit.

Clincher for it being fake (for me) - when he asks what did you think about Shackler, the guy says "I can't talk about it". If he was a sales person, wouldn't he just say it was awesome and move on?
Either way it doesn't change anything for me. We're getting a new track, and if the albums released, we'll know soon enough.

No, its in a thread all about rockband, and noone there is doubting the guys authenticity. I'm pretty sure it's fake - i dont think some PR guy would even know that info anyway. And hardly anyone has paid attention to it, either.

Everyone there thinks he's legit, he's posted photos and was only talking about rockband, not GnR specifically.

Seems like whoever did that video was trying to dupe GnR fans when they were at their most vulnerable (ie something good is happening)...it worked for a while too!
