I really wish they’d added some ‘93 stuff. Band was on fire plus the acoustic set

Word.  I wouldn't have complained about the cool November Rain where it starts off acoustic before going electric halfway through the song.  It's from one of the last shows of the "original" band in 1993 in Argentina before they split.

I'm kinda annoyed that they didn't use social media to tell the fanbase that there would be all these great live tracks on the remastered albums .  Missed opportunity again there.

Interesting. How would I get those extra tracks? Are the available to download anywhere?

You have to download/add both Use Your Illusion Albums.  Those tracks aren't on the album with the Ritz/and the new Nov. Rain version.  I found them in itunes after I looked at the UYI albums.

Absolutely brilliant live version of Estranged from the Ritz.

It's probably easier now to download music you want from some of those hosts then dl it from piratebay.  Torrents are still useful to some extent, but most of it ends up leaking out to some of those download sites anyway.

Oh, pro tip to the wise: if any of those movies have the SHITBOX word next to it.  It has hardcoded unremovable KOREAN subs.

Thankfully, Boebert's going down.  The remaining votes are in Democratic strongholds.

That's another problem:  networks keep giving these people airtime.  Doesn't matter which side.

I wonder whether or not Larry Hogan has a chance to sort of become a 2024 candidate.  Governor of a blue state for multiple terms and doesn't seem too bat shit insane.

I don't want Biden running anymore because of age reasons.  And really you gotta wonder about his cognitive abilites at 80.  And yes, I know I'm being somewhat of an age ist.

Dr. Oz lost.

Thank God.

can already see on Twitter tonight the DeSantis vs Trump war is going to be a bloodbath

Yeah it's already started on the Conservative sub as well. People seem to be favoring Desantis...at the moment.

Dr. Oz is an example  of ID's point that they just nominated these bad Trump candidates.  Sorry, I'm still laughing at that one. On what planet does it make sense, to nominate some quack Dr. guy?

Desantis should win that battle.  The non batshit GOP politicians I bet are just tired of the Trump act.  And Desantis provides them with an alternative..to some sort of return to "normal" politics.  I don't like the guy but gotta give him credit for the stuff he's done in Florida.

Looks like a split congress again:  slight majority for the GOP in the House and the Dems control the senate barely.  Sadly, this means shit mostly gets done.

I don't the covid deaths had much to do with tonight's results.  The youth vote came through for the Democrats tonight.

Beto lost... again.

Why do they keep running this guy? He destroyed any chance of ever winning in Texas when he made that comment about taking all the guns.

Boebert is losing. Thank God. I want all the morons out on both sides. It's what's fueling all the extremism and division.

Abrams lost. I ask again...why keep running this same person?

I have no idea why Beto and Abrams keep on running.  Yeah, it's nice that they come close but at some point you gotta win.  I'm rooting for a Boebert loss as well, she's a moron.

So what happened to the red wave that was supposed to be happen today?  Bad polling?  Bad candidates ?  Or the message wasn't as strong as it should have been.  I don't blame Trump that much oddly enough.

Oh, gotta mention this it's incredible to me how quickly Florida went from a swing state to solid red in 2-3 election cycles.

I'm rooting for Walker to lose as well. Sorry the guy's a moron who is only there because he's famous.

Was feeling kind of crummy yesterday so decided to relax with a Dirty Harry film.

Watched Magnum Force.  In some ways, I liked it more than the first Dirty Harry film.  In this one, the plotline is a bit more interesting to me, especially the beginning which establishes that yes, justice can be blind.  I did find it funny that a couple of times he was with women and got called away on police business.

I did kind of enjoy that they did explore the issue of how far do you go in terms of vigilantism.  And Harry being sort of a poster boy (from the first film) of this and sort of forced to make a decision.

Red Dragon -  This is just an inferior retread of Lambs. Only thing I liked about it is Fiennes as the killer. Really creepy and he goes after families but they drop this  mid-film while he focuses on the blind woman who likes him.

This is the one with Norton, right?  I thought it was too long and really veered into generic thriller mode halfway through and just became another mystery/thriller movie.  Outside of the first two Hannibal films (Manhunter and Silence), most of em are pretty interchangable/mediocre.  The TV series is better than some of the movies.

I personally didn't care for it too much.  I thought the orchestra part was too high in the mix and it almost seemed like a totally different song.  Of course, people might like this aspect and love the remixed song and I get that.
