http://i43.tinypic.com/34hfkw1.jpgIs Beyond Magnetic any good dude? I saw it at the store the other day and almost pulled the trigger on it. Also saw Cash, Heart, and some other good albums in that collection.
It`s better than Death Magnetic but that`s not saying much.

Recently discovered this amazing band. Unfortunately their leader David Gold passed away two years ago in car accident and band ceased existing. Heavy and dark music with haunting melodies so much feeling and emotion is poured in their albums, kickass.

I do like some of scotts songs.
But I disagree with the assesment that he's better at lyrics and melodies than Myles in general.
I find his stuff quite repetitious - both within the same song - for example "Dead and Bloated" - great song but over 5 minutes of the same structure just over and over again without a solo or some kind of beak or anything to break it up. It's fun for the first 3 but then it just repeats; and also from song to song "Unglued" from STP has a very similar verse tune to "Big Machine".
I don't totally hate him, but he's def a one trick pony on the musical level.
Still better than Kennedy.Stone Temple Pilots is very underrated band he was huge part of STP and that alone makes him better than Myles.

4. Drug addict
5. Cock head
No shit, Slash is n`t a saint either I find it very funny to chastise Scott for his drug dependency when Slash himself was a full blown junkie

That is like saying Finck is better than Ashba. In each instance, they both suck and it's a matter of one sucking less than the other. Slash needs to get rid of the nasal voice, but also don't bring back the bullshit STP sound either. I'd love it if he could get Ian Astbury for instance.
Scott does n`t suck far from it he`s very good frontman he might be annoying sometimes with his Jim Morrison meets Iggy Pop, meets David Bowie, meets Layne Staley, meets Eddie Vedder thing but he`s much more interesting performer than this nasal disaster Slash has teamed up with. Most of all, Scott is three things that Kennedy never will be
1.Awesome frontman
2.Good melody and lyrics writer
3.Sonically appealing vocalist.
