Guns N' Roses axeman DJ Ashba has recounted how he and frontman Axl Rose "literally kicked the sh-t out of" a drunk fan who'd gatecrashed a private party.
The guitarist insists it was "all good" and that the fan in question took the attack in good spirits, later admitting he'd deserved it.
"He snuck into this private aftershow party that was just held for the band and the crew. He was a drunk obnoxious big dude – he walks in and he's telling everyone he's our tour manager. We're like, 'What the f--k?'".
"He actually punched one of our tour managers. I saw it, so I grabbed the guy by his throat and slammed him up against the wall and I said, "You need to leave now'".
"I walked him over to the door, but he turned round and punched me in the face. I just started unloading on him. Axl saw him hit me and flipped, and jumped in."
"We're stomping this guy to a pulp – but it was all in good fun."
"What's funny about it is, about three hours later we get done partying, and the guy's still sitting in the lobby. We walk up and he apologises for being a douchebag, then he asks if he can get pictures and autographs with us."
"So we're taking pictures with this bloody mess of a guy we literally kicked the sh-t out of."
"It was all good – we laughed about it in the end and he even laughed. He was like: 'Yeah, it was my fault, I was being a total d-ck'".
"It was just a funny moment."

Yeah i think that Slash wants Miles and Duff wants Taylor ... and I think that Matt and Dave just hope that they get somebody
anyway i'd have to side with Mr McKagan on this one
but it appears that Slash has said "fuck you do it my way or just forget it"
Yep spot on mate thats what am thinking

VR carries no weight this long out. I mean sure, if you want them at festivals going on 7-8 acts before Hinder, then yeah "they're back", whatever.
Slash has gone solo, Slash is staying solo, Duff's doing Loaded, they might occasionally collaborate... something tells me the next time you see them all together it'll be called Guns N' Roses.
That'll happen before VR comes back, imho.
Iv got more of a chance of being in guns n roses then slash hate to say its
never gonna happen

i just think that he doesnt like to deal with criticism so he avoids it for as long as possible ... he doestn deal well with the media and in the public eye so if he can do anything to avoid it he will ... he knows he had big shoes to fill so he tried and tried to make CD the best he could, but sometimes you lose site of the forest for all the trees and you get locked in looking at 14 trees in particular or whatever, the point is that somewhere along the line he may have lost the ability to objectively review what he was trying to accomplish
also he is the type where if you tell him that he cant do something he will do it anyway jsut to spite the naysayers....he's like marty mcfly, call him chicken and he cant help himself but to do it regardless of how reckless of an act it may be ... but its somethign to admire....in the true sense of rebellion ... its what drew me to being a fan and axl still has the attitude and swagger that he did in the 80's
analize all you want but he's just a guy with flaws like anyone else...i dont think he is anymore fucked up that the next guy tbh and at the end of the day i think that CD is a remarkable effort for all involved...on more levels than just the music
