Huh?  I thought it was true: several people confirmed it.  This was one of them.

When I first read that I thought you meant Axl is ready to make up with Bucket.  He is.  Or do you mean Bucket with Axl?  That's the big question - and maybe, as you and I both say, after all this time, he is?:)

It also depends on the other big question: can Azoff crack Bucket?  "What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?", LOL.:haha::)

you said the argument, that axl could coax bucket back, died a while ago. true?
if so, i agree that it did because he tried and he couldn't - now he could. due to the album being ready for release and the fact that time mends broken hearts i belive bucket would return if axl is willing to, again, try to get him back. i don't think azoff is needed for this.

he didn't do a good job then cause finck is a part of the lineup that included bucket. we are starting to see how much bucket is involved with the material. he recorded so much stuff back then that there was nothing else for him to do i suppose, other than touring appetite material and watching axl add synth to all the songs 'so to speak.

Finck's departure was much more recent - hence the bitter taste left by the 'pill' may still be in his mouth.  For Bucket and others it may have faded by now, IMHO.:)

Finck may be a tougher nut to crack....

This argument died a while ago, IIRC.  They tried repeatedly to get Bucket back into the fold in (early) 2006: and failed miserably.  Sources close to Bucket both on his forum, HTGTH, and of course Del's article later in the year confirmed this to be true.  The HTGTH guy (who actually is *linked* to the person I have e-mailed) actually said that: "Things are very bitter now (as of early 2006) between Axl and Bucket: in fact even more so than Slash", I think he said.  But as I said things may have changed now with/over time though.:)

"The things he said were very hurtful...." - bucket

1-yes finck's departure was more recent. all i was saying was, if azoff was brough to reunite that era or lineup, he failed since finck ( who was in that line-up) is now gone also.

2-that argument may have died a while go but only because it wasn't true
now it is

the more time passes the more it becomes a possibility
when bucket left he was pissed at axl

it's human nature to get over this stuff especially when you have a good thing going like the potential for wolrd tours and cd's

if chinese democracy is on the launching pad i still say axl can get bucket back in the band  if he is willing to make up with him that is

I had hope in 02, I had hope in 03, I had hope in 06, I hadhope in 07.... I have no hope left, I just want facts, cold hard facts. Not some reporter asking a head at MTV If "MJ, Britney, N'Sync, Eminem, Dr Dre, GnR" will play the VMA's and the guy, not wanting to give any hints just saying "Oh yeah, we're talking to all of them" That doesn't mean anything to me. I mean, geez, Michael Jackson & N'Sync??!!  That right there tells how how seriously MTV is talking to "all of them"!!

i agree with that

all i am saying is that it's not out of the question

i agree that at the very minimum the song is real and was considered as one of the tracks on the game at one time. keep in mind that if geffen can't get the album out in the next 2-4 months there is not so much to gain from having a new song promoted by rock band 2. they can't make too much off of the single i don't think. the song could have been considered while negotiating the album but the timing just didn't end up being right between RB and Geffen's release plan. we will have the official tracklist sooner than later so we can only suffer that much longer. all i know is gnr has dr pepper, rock band 2, and vma's all as potential promo, along with the positive reviews from time magazine and rolling stone, for cd and people are really gonna stop believing the album is done if they pass up these oppurtunities to get it out and promoted.

a lot of the gamers are saying this is a fake

here is one of the comments

A Gamespot hands-on preview already confirmed that Panic Attack is by Dream Theater. This list says Panic Attack is by Finger Eleven. Fake! Good try though.

i've never been so upset with the saga as i am now

like previously stated this setlist could be fake just like all he fake cd artwork and tracklists we've seen over the years

but i am not gonna get my hopes up again

Since it is an unheard and 'confirmed' title I'm guessing there were plans to include it, but Axl probably backed out once again and the famous plan b gets 'dusted' off (who am I kidding, plan b is on speed dial of course).

everything is always a secret in gnr land
could it be that they asked them to put november rain on the demo version to avoid shackler's revenge leaking?

i don't know what you are talking about
i understand people don't want to get burned again but ignoring gnr's past for one second,

all signs point to the album dropping sooner than later. playing at the vma's, if allowed to, would be as great a way as it was in '02 to promote the album. now they need to follow through. i don't think azoff will go in as unorganized as merck did.

i am not saying i would bet a lot of money on it happening but there is clearly reason for hope at this point, for a few things.
