I'm downloading From Beale Street To Oblivion based on Stacey's recommendation. Will listen to it later tonight.
Good choice.

Jesus. What are you other favorite bands by the way? Depending on your other tastes, that's a bold statement.
My other favorite is a band called Bayside that nobody here has heard of I am sure. I first got into them about 6 or so years ago, they're getting more radio play now than they ever have before, and I think they're going to get bigger soon. I'll be ok if not though, I enjoy seeing them from 40 feet away.

Yeah i've listened to a bit of Clutch... i'm not sure I get that statement either.
Shush.

I'm outrageously excited for our trip! I'm just at this point, talking myself into the fact that there's no way I can see or do everything, so I'll just have to trust Russ to show me the best time possible

i jsut ordered a copy of the self titled disk and i already grabbed a copy of Beale St yesterday...i've had that "electric worry" song that you posted a while ago in my head something feirce
Beale Street is easily my favorite album by them. It's not what got me into them, but I love it.

I'm super looking forward to it. I didn't get there 4 times, but I did do 3 in one year once, it was awesome. I'm going in January for CES but I'll be working the whole time, so I wanted to do this one now so I can have fun in the city.
I usually don't like weekend trips but this is how it worked out best for the 6 people going and their schedules, so we'll be alright. In other news, this is the bullshit Stacey is doing:
Holy fuckin' ball sauce!!!!!
First of all, if you've been up to the top of that thing, you already know that it's a little nerve racking. Second is that they must have you sign your life away before you jump off that thing, the liability waiver must be a mile long! Finally, I'd shit my PANTS doing that, no way!!!
My favorite part of wanting to do the jump is how hilarious I find it that I will do that but not the Insanity (see below)
