#11 Guns N' Roses » ROGER DALTREY On AXL ROSE Singing For AC/DC: 'Give Me A Break' » 478 weeks ago
- Slash McKagan
During a brand new interview with Postmedia Network, THE WHO frontman Roger Daltrey was asked for his opinion on the news that Brian Johnson was retiring from AC/DC because he risks substantial hearing loss if he continues to perform in large arenas and stadiums. Daltrey said: "I mean, I really feel badly for Brian. It must be heartbreaking for him after all the service he's given that band over the years.
"I thought [AC/DC's] farewell statement to the press and to Brian was fairly curt, to say the least. I felt for him. That must have hurt."
He continued: "I've spoken to Brian. He's got loads of other things he wants to do in his life.
"I think AC/DC will miss Brian much more than Brian will miss AC/DC. There you go. What do you expect from Australians? [Laughs]... And he's such a lovely guy, Brian. I've known him for 40-odd years, more..."
As for the announcement that Johnson will be replaced by GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose for the remainder of the "Rock Or Bust" world tour beginning May 7 in Lisbon, Portugal, Daltrey said: "I mean, go and see karaoke with Axl Rose? Give me a break. [Laughs]"
Johnson issued a statement on Tuesday detailing the hearing problems that forced him to stop touring. While he promised to continue recording, he couldn't say whether he would ever perform onstage with AC/DC again.
"Being part of AC/DC this past 36 years has been my life's work," he said. "I cannot imagine going forward without being part of that, but for now I have no choice. The one thing for certain is that I will always be with AC/DC at every show in spirit, if not in person."
Johnson said his hearing problems were interfering with his ability to perform. "I was having difficulty hearing the guitars on stage and because I was not able to hear the other musicians clearly, I feared the quality of my performance could be compromised," he explained. "Our fans deserve my performance to be at the highest level, and I will not disappoint our fans or embarrass the other members of AC/DC."
He added that he has continued to consult with doctors, and was told that he could not "perform on stage at arena and stadium size venues where the sound levels are beyond my current tolerance, without the risk of substantial hearing loss and possibly total deafness."
Looking forward, he said, "My entire focus is to continue medical treatment to improve my hearing. I am hoping that in time my hearing will improve and allow me to return to live concert performances. While the outcome is uncertain, my attitude is optimistic."

#14 Guns N' Roses » MATT SORUM 'Wasn't Asked' To Take Part In GUNS N' ROSES Reunion » 480 weeks ago
- Slash McKagan
Ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum says that he isn't participating in the band's comeback shows because he wasn't asked to take part in the reunion of GN'R's classic lineup.
Only singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan from GN'R's "Appetite For Destruction"-era lineup took part in this past weekend's Las Vegas shows and the April 1 surprise gig at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. They were joined by keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer. Also appearing with them was second keyboardist Melissa Reese.
Asked by a fan on Twitter if he is going to perform with GN'R on the reunion tour, Sorum answered: "No Sir , they didn't ask me"
Sorum, who replaced Steven Adler in GUNS N' ROSES, recorded the highly successful albums "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" (both 1991) and "The Spaghetti Incident" (1994). He also supported the group on the "Use Your Illusion" tour and can be heard on GUNS N' ROSES' "Live Era: '87-'93" (1999) and "Greatest Hits" (2004).
Adler last year spoke about how he would feel about a hypothetical reunion of the classic GN'R lineup which would include Matt Sorum on drums instead of him. "Matt wouldn't do it," Adler said. "I see Matt practically every Monday night, and we talked about it. He wouldn't do it unless I was a part of it. And I said, 'Well, dude, I would do it without you.' And he said, 'But you're the original guy. You're the sound of GN'R. I'm not. So it's different.' And I said, 'If I did it, if Axl wanted to play the '[Use Your] Illusion' songs, I would have you right next to me. You come up and I'll either take the throne or sit where I sit.'… Sort of like [the way we did it] at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame [induction in 2012]. They didn't show that part on TV, I don't think, but [Matt] played 'Brownstone', and then I came up and played 'Sweet Child' and 'Paradise City'."
Adler continued: "But, yeah, I have nothing against Matt. He didn't do nothing. I had resentments with him, but I talked with him and I worked everything out. Everything. I would love to share a tour bus with him."
Sorum told The Pulse of Radio in a 2009 interview that if the classic GUNS N' ROSES band reunited, they should perform with both him and Adler. "If it's me on drums or Steven or whatever, if it happened, it'd be great, you know. I would actually say to them, 'Hey, bring both of us back,' you know. Let me play the other stuff. We'll have two drum kits. I don't care. If 'Appetite' ('For Destruction', the band's debut) sounds better with Steven playing it, have both guys up there. They can afford it."
GUNS N' ROSES was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April 2012. Adler, Sorum, Slash and Duff McKagan attended the ceremony, while Rose and former guitarist Izzy Stradlin stayed home.
GUNS N' ROSES are still scheduled to play two shows in Mexico City and two gigs at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival starting next weekend. A full North American tour is on tap for this summer.

#15 Guns N' Roses » Review: GUNS N' ROSES First Official Comeback Concert » 480 weeks ago

By Clay Marshall
What a difference a quarter-century makes. After one of the most peculiar launches imaginable — one that, following a press release which raised more questions than answers, saw a high-profile late-night television appearance scrapped at the last minute, a curious concert cancellation by the group's original drummer, a shocking flirtation with AC/DC that threatened to control the narrative, a flurry of activity (including a "secret" show) on April 1 that some originally believed to be an elaborate April Fool's prank and, last but not least, a broken foot — GUNS N' ROSES formally returned to the stage at Las Vegas' new T-Mobile Arena last night for the first of two sold-out shows.
Interestingly, the arena is located less than two miles away from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where just 22 months ago GN'R played its last official concerts with the impressive eight-piece, three-guitar lineup that toured the world together for five years in support of the infamous "Chinese Democracy". Last week, after months of speculation, it finally became clear that half of that lineup — drummer Frank Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus, longtime keyboardist Dizzy Reed and, of course, Axl Rose — would participate in the band's 2016 "reunion." That's a misleading word, though, as until April 1, this particular incarnation of GN'R — which features a returning Slash and Duff McKagan, as well as second keyboardist Melissa Reese — had never performed together. (Cue the great line from "Airheads": "There's three of you — you're not exactly 'Lone.'")
Semantics aside, it's easy to be cynical about reunion tours, especially when bands can't bury the necessary hatchets to showcase lineups that people truly want to see. After all, was anyone genuinely excited to see David Lee Roth return to a VAN HALEN that did not feature Michael Anthony? GN'R is admittedly a different beast, though. Many have forgetten that during the marathon "Use Your Illusion" tour, the group's ranks, which by that point no longer featured Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin, had swollen to 12, including two female backing vocalists/dancers and a three-piece horn section. Today's seven-piece lineup feels positively streamlined by comparison.
Still, there's something admirable about GN'R wanting to connect its storied past with the players who performed on and toured in support of "Chinese Democracy", a divisive yet fascinating album whose material comprised much of the band's set lists for the last decade or so. Indeed, seeing Slash and Duff play its sneering title track, "This I Love" and "Better" last night legitimized that era of GN'R, and also provided an olive branch to the fans who supported it.
Let's be clear, though: No one in Las Vegas paid to hear "Chinese Democracy" songs performed live. The real draw, as has always been the case for GN'R, is material from "Appetite For Destruction", the band's lightning-in-a-bottle debut that rivals "Back In Black" as the best hard rock album of the '80s. That's not meant to dismiss the "Use Your Illusion" albums, which for 25 years have served as rock's best ice-breaker ("Get In The Ring" still makes my personal single-disc version, and if you say otherwise, I'll kick your bitchy little ass), but despite the fact that they spawned nine MTV staples and sold millions of copies, they simply don't match the power — and staying power — of "Appetite", which is likely why the band performed just two "UYI" originals during last week's gig at L.A.'s Troubadour.
To the disappointment of those who shelled out hundreds of dollars on the secondary market to attend last night's show (originally billed as GN'R's tour kickoff), the Troubadour concert marked the first time since 1993 that Axl, Slash and Duff shared the stage. That prospect seemed impossible as recently as four years ago, when the group was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame and Axl famously declined to attend the induction ceremony. Apparently time, or at least the prospect of enormous stadium-tour paydays, heals all wounds.
Speaking of wounds, last night's show saw Axl sporting a cast on his left foot, which was apparently injured as he slipped during the Troubadour show. Considering the recent rumors about the reunion nearly falling apart before it even started, it's just the kind of thing you'd expect to cause postponments, cancellations or worse — but to Axl's credit, he made lemonade last night. Just after midnight — and nearly an hour and a half after openers ALICE IN CHAINS completed their set — a large throne decorated with flood lights and guitar necks was wheeled onto the stage. For most of the 140 minutes that followed, Axl sat front and center with his injured foot elevated. Considering how much he normally moves around the stage, it's unfortunate that he was immobilized to such a degree, but on the bright side, he sounded sensational. Noticeably slimmer and clean-shaven, with shaggy, shoulder-length hair, he also looked rejuvenated compared to the pimp/godfather image he projected during the "Chinese Democracy" tour.
As they did at the Troubadour, the band opened its Vegas set with a double-shot of "Appetite" favorites in "It's So Easy" and "Mr. Brownstone". The staging wasn't anything special — a large video screen hung above the stage, with two smaller ones on either side — but as you heard these classics performed live, you realized it's not about what's on the stage, but who. Seeing Duff play the opening notes of "It's So Easy" and hearing him harmonizing with Axl while Slash, sporting a top hat and sunglasses, was hunched over his Les Paul on stage left felt just as exciting as you hoped it would.
It was a ballsy move to perform the title track of "Chinese Democracy" just three songs in, but Slash gave the song a swagger it had always lacked. For those scoring at home, he handled the first part of the solo before passing the baton to Fortus, who then tackled the Buckethead section — which for the last few years was performed by Bumblefoot. (Confused yet?)
After four roadies pushed Axl's throne a bit further toward stage right, he introduces fan favorite "Estranged". Although the video accompaniment displayed jellyfish rather than dolphins for whatever reason, a fan in the front row waved what appeared to be an inflatable porpoise throughout the song. 25 years ago, that might have caused Axl to jump into the crowd, walk off stage and/or indirectly incite a riot, but in Vegas, he was all business during the song, matching the power of Slash's haunting solos with a riveting vocal performance.
After a pyro-drenched "Live And Let Die" — during which Axl unleashed three remarkable primal screams — and a stretched-out "Rocket Queen", the always powerful "You Could Be Mine" gave the singer a chance to show off both his sense of humor (via his customary "with your ass in the air" quip) and his unrivaled piss-and-vinegar vocal delivery. A trio of surprises followed: Duff singing a cover of THE DAMNED's "New Rose"; the band's first performance of "UYI" I's epic finale "Coma" since 1993; and a completely unexpected yet absolutely chilling rendition of the "ChiDem" ballad "This I Love" that, between Axl singing his ass off and Slash delivering a letter-perfect solo, might well have been the show's emotional highlight.
The third and final "Chinese Democracy" song performed, "Better", was also a revelation. The band added a dark, heavy intro and stronger backing vocals that gave the song a completely different flavor, and after Slash nailed another sharp solo, it was finally clear why the album took Axl more than a decade to complete: It was missing something. It was missing this.
It's impossible to pick a favorite moment from the final hour of the show, for highlights were plentiful: the powerful "Civil War"; a well-crafted instrumental medley of "Wish You Were Here" and "Layla" that led into "November Rain"; and a confetti-drenched "Paradise City". On the flip side, a nearly 10-minute rendition of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" was a bit too drawn out, but Axl's performance of the song showed far more restraint than usual and held your interest throughout. (It's too bad he didn't request any reggae, though.)
While it might seem like a letdown that the show featured no guest stars, it's hard to imagine that anyone who watched the band take its final bow at 2:25 a.m. was disappointed by what they'd just witnessed. Against all odds, in a city that lives and dies by them, GN'R felt like GN'R again.

#16 Guns N' Roses » DUFF MCKAGAN's Wife Says Troubadour Concert Was a Pretty Magical Night » 480 weeks ago
- Slash McKagan
Susan Holmes-McKagan, the wife of GUNS N' ROSES bassist Duff McKagan, has told Las Vegas Weekly that seeing her husband reunited with singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash last week at the surprise GN'R gig at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California, the first show for the classic trio since 1993, "was a pretty magical night. I've just witnessed Duff and the other guys rehearse a tremendous amount, and I just know everyone in the world is so excited to see this band together on one stage and perform live," she said.
Susan, who married Duff in August 1999, after his initial days in GN'R were over, will also be in attendance this weekend in Las Vegas to see the band perform at the T-Mobile Arena. "It's fun for me to see the crowd's reactions on which songs they freak out on," she told Las Vegas Weekly. "They're playing a lot of the old stuff, which is killer, and then they're playing a bit of the new stuff, too, which sounds incredibly kick-ass, too. When you’re there live in the room and feeling the energy of the room, it's just an amazing feeling."
Susan Holmes-McKagan is a model, swimwear designer and a one-time cast member on the E! network's reality show "Married To Rock". She has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and Playboy magazines.
The former GUNS N' ROSES bassist and Susan have two children together.
Duff and Susan met in 1996 he saw photographs of Holmes in Allure magazine. "A mutual friend called me up and said, 'Meet your new boyfriend,' and handed over the phone," she told Los Angeles Magazine in 2010. We went to a sushi place in Bel-Air for dinner and have been together ever since."
Susan also responded to people who branded her a "gold digger" for marrying a rock star. She said: "I made millions of my own dollars before I met my husband."
GUNS N' ROSES will play the first of two shows in Vegas Friday night (April 8). The band will also play two gigs in Mexico City in addition to two Coachella festival dates, before launching a stadium trek this summer.

The three "core" members of the current GUNS N' ROSES reunion lineup — Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan — will evenly split profits from the band's upcoming North American tour, according to Page Six. The three originals are also the only band members whose names are being featured in advertising for the tour, with additional members Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese not highlighted.
According to The Pulse Of Radio, the four non-core members are probably being paid a salary for the live shows. Axl Rose, who owns the GN'R brand, had all the members of the previous GUNS lineup, which included no founding members but him, under salary.
Slash, who left the group in 1996, said in 2007 that he quit after Rose had other members sign contracts "like we were defined as hired hands."
GUNS N' ROSES will play the first of two shows at Las Vegas' new T-Mobile Arena on Friday night (April 8). The band will also play two gigs in Mexico City in addition to the Vegas and Coachella dates, before launching a stadium trek this summer.
The band is getting a reported $8 million for its two appearances at California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this month and an average of $2.75 million per show on the tour.
By comparison, Rose's most recent pre-reunion lineup of GUNS N' ROSES was getting somewhere between $350,000 and $500,000 per show, according to Billboard's industry sources.
GUNS N' ROSES is booked by Ken Fermaglich at United Talent Agency. Live Nation's Steve Herman is running point on the tour, according to Billboard.
AEG Live, once in contention to promote the summer stadium run, is producing both the Vegas shows and the Coachella appearance, the latter through its Goldenvoice division.
Several hours after announcing the tour on April 1, GUNS N' ROSES played a surprise gig at the Troubadour, one of the Los Angeles clubs where the band first performed before the release of its debut album, 1987's "Appetite For Destruction".
The concert was advertised as "Not In This Lifetime" by the venue, quoting what Rose said in 2012 about a possible classic GUNS N' ROSES lineup reunion. The same phrase has since been announced as the name of the band's upcoming tour.
GUNS N' ROSES has sold 44.5 million albums in the United States, according to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America).

This is a "report" posted on Blabbermouth....
Report: GUNS N' ROSES Reunion Almost Fell Apart
Read more at http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/report … 9According to The Pulse Of Radio, a GUNS N' ROSES source "MSL" has said that the reunion of classic-era members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan almost didn't happen at all. Writing at the GNRTruth blog, "MSL" said, "In terms of any crazy last-minute demands, maybe that story will come out someday. I don't think people realize just how close this whole 'reunion' thing was to completely falling apart and not happening at all."
"MSL" also revealed that the band had been negotiating with former guitarist Izzy Stradlin to have him participate in the reunion, but that they couldn't come to terms. He explained: "'Requesting more' might give off the impression that there was a deal and that he reneged. I don't believe that is the case at all… If somebody tried to change the deal at the last minute, it sure as shit wasn't Izzy. Thought he handled things professionally by bowing out and letting the fans know."
"MSL" also said that other factors, such as Slash's divorce from his wife Perla — he reportedly did not want her to get a share of his income from a reunion — and negotiations over the band members' cuts from sales of a future live DVD, played a role in luring Slash back to the group.
He revealed: "The position was open. Perla was gone. The hatchet had already been buried enough to agree on the DVD issue. There was nothing standing in the way anymore." Nonetheless, "MSL" added, "Everything came down to the wire… We'll see how long it lasts."
"MSL" previously broke the news that GUNS N' ROSES was going to perform at this month's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and that Axl Rose had met with AC/DC to act as a guest vocalist for that band, both stories that were later proven to be true.
Keyboardist Dizzy Reed, a 22-year veteran of the group who is participating in the reunion, told The Pulse Of Radio a while back that unpredictability has always been part of the band. "The volatility is definitely still there, especially for me, because I've seen a lot," he said. "It keeps you on your toes for sure. I just show up every night as prepared as possible to do my job, and anything else that happens is out of my control. There's really no way to truly deal with that."
GUNS N' ROSES will play a couple of shows in Las Vegas this weekend before doing two stints at Coachella and two Mexico City gigs. A North American stadium tour will follow this summer.

#19 Guns N' Roses » Should AC/DC Recruit AXL ROSE To Replace BRIAN JOHNSON? HATEBREED's JA » 480 weeks ago
- Slash McKagan
HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta says that he is "not jumping out of his seat" at the prospect of Axl Rose singing for AC/DC, explaining that he would be more excited if someone like ACCEPT's Mark Tornillo stepped in to replace Brian Johnson.
The legendary Australian hard rock band postponed the last ten dates of its recent North American tour after doctors told Johnson he faced "total hearing loss." Evidence has mounted that AC/DC may use GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose as a "guest vocalist" when it reschedules the shows, with Johnson possibly not returning to the band at all.
Asked by Australia's Sticks For Stones web site if he would go watch Axl singing for AC/DC, and whether he thinks they are a good match, Jasta said (hear audio below): "Yeah, I'll check it out. I really… I wanna say that I wish Brian Johnson the best. I've been going to the ear, nose and throat doctor since, like, 2010, and I'm due for another checkup."
He continued: "I think it's kind of every singer's worst fear — singer, screamer, broadcaster… anybody… voiceover talent… Anybody who's doing anything where their business and their livelihood is their voice, it's always in the back of your head. So I really hope he makes a full recovery, I hope he's okay, and I hope that the drama and the clickbait and the stuff that we're seeing online, I hope it's not as bad as what it seems."
Jasta went on to say: "As far as Axl singing for AC/DC, it doesn't have the excitement as, like, if a Mark Tornillo or… somebody who is more of an underdog, I think, I would be more excited about. I don't know… Like, I would have liked to see a rags-to-riches type of story rather than a bunch of millionaires, you know, kind of doing AC/DC covers. I don't know... I respect Axl, I like his voice, I think his voice will be fine for AC/DC songs. I wanna check it out. But I'm not, like, jumping out of my seat. If you told me Mark from ACCEPT got the gig, I would be losing my mind. I would be so freaking happy, 'cause I love those… I love the last three ACCEPT records; they're fucking great! But I like an underdog story."
AC/DC postponed the last ten dates of its recent North American tour due to Johnson's condition, promising to make them up and possibly use "guest vocalists."
The band reportedly began meeting with potential guest singers in Atlanta, during which Rose was also spotted in the city.
Not yet known is Johnson's future status with AC/DC. Johnson has fronted the group for 36 years, but it is not clear whether his hearing issue will prevent him from performing live with them again.
Also not known is the official position of GUNS N' ROSES on Axl's possible stint with AC/DC. Three-fifths of the classic GUNS lineup — Axl, Slash and Duff McKagan — reunited for a show in Hollywood on Friday and is set to play more six concerts this month and a North American tour later this year.
The rescheduled North American dates for AC/DC have not yet been announced. The band's next confirmed shows take place in Europe in May.

#20 Guns N' Roses » DEF LEPPARD's PHIL COLLEN Clarifies GUNS N' ROSES 'Lame' Comments: 'I » 480 weeks ago
- Slash McKagan
DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen says that he was "misquoted" in a recent interview in which he gave his opinion regarding GUNS N' ROSES' reunion shows featuring Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan.
This past February, Collen was asked about GN'R's long-awaited comeback gigs, and spoke for his band when he told The Daily Telegraph: "We obviously think it’s really fucking lame. I love GUNS N' ROSES; I think they're really cool. I'd love to see Slash and Axl and Duff play together; that's great. But I think it's fucking lame considering we've been hardcore. Our integrity's still intact; we've never split up. We've gone through if someone had a little sniffle or something, we soldier on."
Collen, who performs nightly without a shirt, added: "Someone dies, someone loses an arm, someone gets cancer, we soldier on. [With GUNS N' ROSES], if someone has a little barney backstage, they can't deal with each other. I know it's difficult, but I do think it's pretty lame when you compare anyone else to us."
During an appearance on the April 4 edition of the "Toontrack" podcast, Collen clarified his comments, explaining (hear audio below): "I actually just got into trouble recently, 'cause I got misquoted talking about GUNS N' ROSES, of who I think are amazing. I love GUNS N' ROSES. I think they're an amazing band. I would love to go and see them. And someone said, 'Oh, you said they're lame.' No. I said it's lame that they broke up in the first place. I don't even think it's lame that they're reforming. I think it's… you know, the world needs a GUNS N' ROSES and it's, like, well, about time."
He continued: "I thought it was lame that they broke up when I think they could have enjoyed a little bit… I know they were having all sorts of problems, so it's easy for me to say. But we had worse problems. You know, we had someone die, someone lose an arm, Vivian [Campbell, guitar] got cancer, and we just soldiered on."
Collen added: "I think that there's something about traveling and there's something about wisdom and getting more experience — not necessarily being older — but with all that stuff… Later on, you intellectualize stuff, and you can do stuff that you couldn't have done when you [were] a little more emotional or hard-headed. And I think that's really what it comes down to."
DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott recently said that he would love to see a full reunion of GUNS N' ROSES' classic lineup, with both Steven Adler and Matt Sorum sitting behind the drum kit during the band's live shows. He said: "I think the only way it would really work [is] they'd have to go with two drummers; they would have to take Steven and Matt. Obviously, Steven, having never played on the '[Use Your] Illusion' stuff, they would trade drummers out. I mean, it may be a little cabaret."
He added: "I'd love to see all seven of them involved, if you know what I mean — which would be Axl, Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin, Gilby Clarke, Matt Sorum and Steven Adler. I would like to see that lineup. None of this Bumble thing, Buckethead, none of that crowd. Even [Richard] Fortus, who's a very good friend of mine; I love him to death. But if the original seven, if you like — the five plus their, kind of… the early replacements, which would be Matt Sorum and Gilby. If they were the guys that played on those records and they weren't gonna be playing anything off 'Chinese Democracy', that would be the thing for me — to bring them in and out as needed. For me, I would buy that ticket; I would love to buy that ticket."
Only Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan from GN'R's "Appetite For Destruction"-era lineup took part in the band's April 1 gig at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. They were joined by keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer. Also appearing with them was second keyboardist Melissa Reese.
GUNS N' ROSES' reunion tour will officially kick off on Friday, April 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is also scheduled to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival later this month.
