Axl doesn't give a damn about his own record. Why should the rest of the world? There is no conspiracy, but Axl's arrogancy and childish crying is annoying. He even managed to make his own fans pissed off, so how could he collect the sympathy of non-fans?
Hate to agree, but I have to. I just Can't believe we waited all this time for CD to come out & when it finally does, GNR disappears off the face of the earth.
Let's face it. Everything other than the music is completely fucked up!:headbang:

Sales now Final:
CD barely clinging to top 50 at #48 with 9,215 sales.
I'm sure it will be out of the top 50 next week & completely off the charts soon if something drastic doesn't happen.

2006 had a HUGE buzz, and in fact, it was even buzzier than 2002. Those Hammerstein shows had incredible buzz, and the US tour wasnt plagued by the cancellations of 2002. Furthermore, Axl was in tip-top shape, rivaling his 1992-93 performances. Should have been released in 2006 with the tour, would be much more successful, and more successful than a November 2002 release.
Kida sad that all we're left with now is coulda shoulda woulda's:headbang:

I've never understood why they have totally ignored the DVD market. They have soooo much footage - there is a heap of $$'s just sitting there plus a heap of material that fans genuienly want to see.
I understand that Axl probably doesn't want to release any footage of old Guns (like all those UYI concerts that were filmed) but all the NuGNR stuff has been filmed so why not put out some concerts?
No shit. I've got like 20 06'-07' concert dvds. Several look very professional.

How personal the album is has absolutely NOTHING to do with catching on with the masses. Personal albums have caught on with the masses in the past, they do so today and they will do so in the future. It's not like people are hearing CD or Better on radio and thinking "Gee Axl's really baring his soul. Sounds like a real personal album I think I'll avoid it" I've never heard of an album being too personal that it hurts album sales. That's pretty ridiculous.
maybe so...my original point remains album sales are driven by singles and Axl's singles aren't connecting so far.:/
I don't think U can say the singles are not connecting. Maybe "Chinese Democracy" because the Radio played it so much. But we all know "Better" is the one that has the best chance to connect, but it's not really getting a fair chance to succeed.
