Close, but I went with Patience. Wish they'd drop The Seeker and just do both before ending with Paradise City.

I'm sending out vibes for both Adler and Izzy to show up in New Orleans July 31.
Since they didn't have a "special guest" in Pittsburgh, they should have broke out an extra couple of tracks for the fans...throwing in Locomotive and Used to Love Her or something. I mean, once a couple of stops has shown off 4/5 of the original lineup, it's always going to be just a taaaaad disappointing if you only get 3/5. Sure, still a great show and all that...but it's human nature. I guess you take what you can get...but the city or cities that get 5/5 of the original lineup on stage...that'll be insane.

No Adler sucks. Now they let that cat out of the bag...twice...fans are going to be disappointed if he doesn't show. I was torn between the Nashville and New Orleans shows...picked New Orleans...hope I don't regret it.

Great to see Adler continuing to guest on songs each gig. It looks like it's going to continue to happen for the rest of the US tour?
I wonder if that's a test, then depending on how that goes maybe he gets to do a few more gigs & /or songs?
That's what I'm hoping. It'll suck if Adler isn't at the New Orleans show. I read where he got on a plane back to CA after Nashville...not sure what that means. Seems his two appearances went very well...now fans are going to be disappointed if he doesn't at least make an appearance. They had to know that beforehand.

Ha...I was just being sarcastic since it seems like they're dead set on playing it in the encore. If they ever browsed most any GNR forum anywhere...this one, Facebook...whatever...then they'd know fans would MUCH rather hear another GNR original instead of a cover...esp in the encore. I haven't been to a show yet, but I imagine in a 3 song encore, that the crowd is hyped for the first song...DC or Patience...then it dramatically drops off for The Seeker before going into PC. You'd think they'd want to build up the encore instead of having a bathroom break moment right in the middle of it.

Apparently they're contractually required to play it or something. It makes 0 sense to do a cover during the encore. I imagine it saps the energy out of an encore that should be building up to PC. Don't know why they don't just do both Don't Cry AND Patience instead of rotating them.

Seeing that continuous smile on Adler's face and knowing how much this means to him...it just makes me want to go even more. I'm hoping he's at every show here on out...and maybe they progressively let him do more and more songs. It's like he's the one guy you know who just really wants to "be" there...doing those songs on stage with all the guys...regardless of the money.

Ok...now we know Cincy wasn't a one off...if he's not at some remaining shows, there's going to be some disappointed fans. I know I'll be bummed if he doesn't show up in New Orleans. Could even Izzy maybe show up...?
