Good read. Very detailed. Although It seems less than 19 CD's. Out of the whole thing I was able to make 2 CD's worth new material and only about 8-9 had lyrics. Didn't know about the $15k payment from GN'R though. It was obvious Dunsford didn't leak the whole thing as "the chairman" did. I still enjoy listening to the leaks. They are very good. I didn't like the Slash/Duff re-works at all. This is what happens when you screw the fans and never release anything. The fans get desperate.

they sound exactly the same as the originals, literally no point of listening to them (well, there IS a point - the originals can be just replaced with "remasters" and keep listening as before)
I disagree. I can tell a difference. The mix is louder, the split between the right and left speaker very noticeable. Slash on the right, Izzy on left. Although some cases it's all Slash. Little sounds or vocals are mixed to one side better. It's more about clarity, nuance and separation of guitars. Perhaps if I had a $2000 stereo I would notice more but in my car I notice a lot of improvement over the original.

The remasters sound good. Louder guitars and good mixes. Only some demos would have made it better.

There was a lot of things I would have love to see in this one. The "New Slash GTR's" demos, Ain't Going Down, Don't Damn Me and 14 years extended version. Probably some we've never heard before like the previously unreleased acoustic MTTC. Best we can do is share the ones we do have.
Side note: Can anyone point me in the right direction to the Remastered 2 disc set of UYI 1? I'm looking for the live disc specifically.
Are you asking for a link to buy UYI I or torrents?.
A direct link or the torrent would be fine. I tend to burn my own CD's. I have not found this specific file yet.

Anyone know where I can get scans of the LP covers from the live shows in this set. I'd like to print them out and make my own. They appear to be images of other people in the original painting. They look cool.

Watched the blu-ray. How awesome was that? Such a breath of fresh air to see a mixed up set list like that. It was Fire. The crowd, the band and quality was phenomenal. Enjoyed it immensely.

It’s nice to hear Bad Apples live from Rio, without the radio broadcasters voice over it, that’s been floating around as a bootleg for decades. And also the Izzy sang songs are a must for me, even if he sounds pretty rough on them.
I’m still making my way through it all. It’s certainly a lot to digest.
Yes there are bunch of other live tracks on the individual remastered discs. Some from UK some from Paris too
Interesting. How would I get those extra tracks? Are the available to download anywhere?

For those that still care, the entire UYI Super Deluxe Box contents (minus the Bluray), plus the individual UYI deluxe albums are all up for streaming. The quality on Apple Music is lossless too. And I haven’t had to pay the stupid $500 (AUS) asking price to listen to all this.
See, there are benefits to streaming
Oh nice. Thanks!
