Oh please Love to Love is at the very least a representative studio showing for Axl. Great? No. But is it like him trying to sing SCOM live? Absolutely not.

Yes but the quality...

It’s true and I completely agree but one would think in nearly 10 years they would get out at least an album of reworked CD-era shit. Especially when it has nothing to do with Axl’s studio vocals which have been validated with Children of the Revolution, and the more recently-recorded Michael Schenker song.

I think the idea is the song is for charity.

The vocals are fucking great. Better than most of CD.

Todd Kerns recently mentioned on an Insta post that SMKC5 would come out in 2026, so if GNR are going to do something, 2025 is the window to do it.

What’s the chances that we get the next SMKC album before the new GNR album though. I’d say that’s a safe bet.

Guns N Roses has always been about getting rich. Always. That never changed.

Feel like with any band like this the issue comes down to money. Maybe Frank was asking for a raise? Even with the best drummer in the world, do they think the product would be so much better they’d sell more tickets? Probably see a marginal increase with a Matt or definitely Steven, but a relative unknown? Something doesn’t add up that they’d go 9 years with the guy then decide to can him. I’m not buying it’s just that Frank “can’t play.”

I think it’s a bummer he’s out. The first wheel to fall off in 9 years. And since they’re not going to Matt or Steven, it’s even more lame.

Hypothetically if there were only 2 options and it was frank stays or frank leaves and it’s NOT Matt or Adler, I’d rather Frank stayed.
