This is a really good list,It backs up what a friend & I where just talking about.
Most fans do not want VR to choose some new be Scab Weliand wanna be.
They want to see an established singer who can really keep the whole SG vibe "Alive" Personally as I have said I never got into the music with Scott, but I would never have denied he brought his "Star" with him & that's what they need. Anyone else will be ripped to shreds
by fans & critics alike....

Personally I don't see Josh Todd  leaving Buck Cheery & while Chris
Cornell  is a really good singer after the whole Audio slave who knows if he would do it.

Both Sebastian & Eric are really good choice I loved the first Snake Pit CD
But as a die hard Sebastian Bach I feel he will bring more than enough "Star Power" & undeniable talent to the table... VR are as far as I know under contract for one more CD This will be the make it or break it for the band, regardless of the out come Slash  will more than likely  remain in the spotlight. 21

I think the name VR is established enough now that they could still get alot of radio play with Bach as a singer and it might give all the non-believers a chance to hear that Bach still rocks.

I absolutely agree with you. What I was saying is I don't think fans want to see them get someone that simply sounds like Scott. This was a subject of conversation at work today (Lunch) & it was rather pleasant
to all the people who where actually excited about the idea of Bach with VR,of course there was one guy who thought it was an absurd idea but he has the right to his opinion.

One Person brought up another  name that    I don't think has been brought up.
Rob Zombie & Slash had some serious chemistry at the  VH1 Rock honors...
While my personal vote still go's   to Baz ,Rob is a hell of a singer & front man....

MÖTLEY CRÜE: New Song Available For Streaming - Apr. 11, 2008

A new MÖTLEY CRÜE song, entitled "Saints of Los Angeles", is being streamed exclusively at Spinner.com. The song is expected to be the first single off the band's ninth album, "The Dirt", which is tentatively due on July 8. The single will arrive at radio stations in early May.

Several registered members of MÖTLEY CRÜE's official message board previously commented on a 28-second leak of "Saints of Los Angeles", with one fan describing the track as "definitely that elusive cross between 'Shout at the Devil' and 'Dr. Feelgood' we always heard about." Another board user writes, "[it] reminds be a bit of the 'Sick Love Song' [a track that was included on MÖTLEY CRÜE's two-CD 'greatest hits' collection, 'Red, White & Crüe' in 2005] style of material, but has a 'Wildside' vibe. I'm glad to see the CRÜE go back to a classic/heavy sound while not sounding like 'New Tattoo' [2000]. This is the style they should stay in."

"The Dirt" is based on the band's 2001 memoir of the same name and will be its first all-new studio effort since 2000's "New Tattoo". 1997's "Generation Swine" was the last to feature the group's original lineup, which reunited for a successful world tour in 2005.

Although it was reported last fall that drummer Tommy Lee had again quit the CRÜE over legal issues, he and the group have reconciled.

Bassist Nikki Sixx wrote in a recent online update, "10 songs done for the new CRÜE album so far, I'm very proud of the songs. I think we're onto some of the better songs we've had in years...Time will tell, of course. A couple of song titles on the CRÜE album are called 'A Scar On Hollywood Boulevard' and 'The Saints Of Los Angeles'... The chemistry in the studio as we're writing is unbelievable."

The CRÜE recently denied a post at Robin Leach's Las Vegas gossip blog which suggested that the band had signed a three-album, three-tour deal with Live Nation for $100 million. Although the source of the rumor was reportedly singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx said in a statement, "MÖTLEY CRÜE has not signed any deals to tour or record whatsoever. Any information to the contrary is 100 percent incorrect."

The management company that represents MÖTLEY CRÜE told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that rumors about the band headlining a festival-type tour called "Cruefest" are "blatantly false and completely unfounded," although the company, 10th Street Entertainment, did admit that the band's press conference scheduled for April 15 in Los Angeles will involve at least "a few" of more than two dozen acts. Rumors began circulating about a so-called "Cruefest" after the CRÜE revealed that it will make a "colossal announcement" on April 15, with other 10th Street bands like BUCKCHERRY, DROWNING POOL and PAPA ROACH reportedly on board.

A "video teaser" for the press conference and contest '” which appears to contain images of MÖTLEY CRÜE, BUCKCHERRY, PAPA ROACH and SIXX: A.M. '” can be viewed at this location (Quicktime required).

VELVET REVOLVER Lays Down '12 New Jams,' According To Bassist MCKAGAN - Apr. 10, 2008

VELVET REVOLVER bassist Duff McKagan has posted a message on the web site of his side project LOADED stating that VR has finished "laying down 12 new jams" at the studio of the group's drummer, Matt Sorum. No further details were provided.

VELVET REVOLVER announced that it was parting ways with singer Scott Weiland on April 1 due to his "increasingly erratic on-stage behavior and personal problems." Weiland told The Associated Press earlier this week that the split with VELVET REVOLVER and the reactivation of his previous band, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, happened around the same time, explaining, "I had talked to (VELVET REVOLVER guitarist) Slash, mentioned it to him, and things were cool for a while. And this last tour, things just disintegrated really badly. I just came to the point where I decided that...if I'm going to commit the next 10 years of my life to touring...then I want to do it with people I want to make music with."

VELVET REVOLVER has not yet announced a replacement for Weiland.

In other news, McKagan has hinted on the LOADED web site that the band he formed after he left GUNS N' ROSES is planning on hitting the road later in the year. "UK, you up for a late summer/early fall tour? Spain? Italy?" he wrote on the site.

LOADED is currently working on a new, yet-to-be-titled studio album, to be released in the summer.

LOADED was formed in 1999 and has morphed several times, releasing two albums: 1999's "Live Episode" and 2001's "Dark Days". The group's current lineup includes drummer Geoff Reading (NEW AMERICAN SHAME, GREEN APPLE QUICKSTEP), bassist Jeff Rouse and guitarist Mike Squires (both formerly of ALIEN CRIME SYNDICATE).

No he did not lol,What he said was he thought Scot would be more imaginative.
And that can be looked at in 2 ways.

1 Ok Slash is  saying he is not the singer... & Scott is just being sour.

2. Scott knows fully well Sebastian is his replacement & drops the bomb to the media.

Either way I have just posted what magazines & other forms of source have said.

I could cut out the middle men & find out for sure but this is more fun.

There is a video coming for the song black betty. DMC & Baz shot the bulk of it
when Baz was on CRS. Mick Mars will be in it & rumor has it Nikki Sixx will also appear in the video.  With the impact Run DMC & Aerosmith had years ago Im wondering if DMC is shooting for the same heights with this.... Ram Jam tribute/cover..... From what I heard so far it's Bad Ass.....

*I'm kidding of course. Good news for Baz that he is finally gonna tour and promote his record. Video a good move, but it wont get played often. The only way he can increase album sales is by going on tour. Its why M.I.A. is starting another world tour just 2 months after the last tour ended.

He made a huge mistake by not touring right before and after the release of Angel Down.

I agree he should have toured right after it came out. But his personal
issue had to be taken care of first...

Not to sound like an Ass but who is MIA?
I tried pumping my kid & her friends for info but got nothing & I know I
have seen this name come up here a few times now....
