Now he's bringing up Axl even when not prompted in the first question of interviews? It is becoming a bit much.

Whenever i go to gnrevolution.com it says "we've moved", surely this should go straight to the real site now?

I think that happened to me yesterday, because I tried to re-bookmark the site and today realized that it had bookmarked the old URL instead.

It's working for me now, though.  Are you still having problems with it?

Ah you are correct squire. All is well now.

I have a hard time taking anything in this book seriously http://www.misterspunky.com/faces/tea.gif

Why? While I have not read it yet, from the parts I have read none of it sounded far fetched.

because the guy claims he can't remember 3/4 of his time in GnR.    and he almost never keeps a consistant story.    http://www.misterspunky.com/faces/tea.gif

Actually, so you know, Slash was such a fucktard back then that people used to have to write out his timetable for him so he knew exactly what he was doing day by day. So alot of the structure of the book came from these diaries people had written for him. I'm sure with a little prompting it wasn't that hard to remember a few extra details aswell.

If its made up, i dont see to what gain, he is very fair towards Axl/Steven/GNR and even Scott Weiland, and very harsh upon himself at times aswell.

#18 Re: Guns N' Roses » Baz:'AXL ROSE Has Lived A Life None Of Us Could Ever Imagine' » 920 weeks ago

I thought that was actually a decent interview, seemed to be Baz's real thoughts for once rather than what he thought he should say.

Obviously Axl does live in such a bubble, and the thing about people around Axl saying exactly what Axl wants to hear.....well i always figured Baz would be like that, so if even HE is noticing it, there must be some serious kissass' around Axl 16

Cool beans. At least i'll be able to remember that.

Libertard was a failure because its weak and a shit album with mediocre songs

But people don't buy albums based on the strength of the album as a whole. Its based on name, promotion, singles and so on. Word of mouth regarding an albums quality doesn't really come in until a little bit later. The vast proportion of CD sales will happen in the first month or so due to the hype it would generate (combined i assume with a strong single).

Chinese Democracy will have alot more promotion than any second GNR record will just because of the nature of the album.

Just as Contraband had the GNR MEETS STP!!!! free publicity (combined with strong singles, other promotion etc).

So i don't think Libertads failure indicates too much towards the success of CD.
