the two were last together in studio almost 30 years ago (if I presume that the recording process went normally as a band, which actually didn't happen exactly that way), if I omit TSI sessions and the Outpatience album - in both cases they most probably never met there anyway.
they now milk the nostalgia cow by playing stuff they recorded before 1990.
I wonder what makes anyone so confident about that "these two together can't disappoint in the studio".
oh, yes, from the financial point of view, they sure won't disappoint - they can just record their own turds and will still sell billions.
IF they do.
meh.
Zombux - ‘This tour is nothing but a nostalgia cash grab’
Anyone else - ‘They’re playing 3+ hour shows every night, hardly just going through the motions.’
Zombux - ‘CASH GRAB, if they had any integrity they’d make new music but they don’t’
Anyone else - ‘There’s a rumour here that they’re heading back to the studio and have a contract signed’
Zombux - ‘It’ll be shit anyway’
I’m starting to think your not being entirely objective with this whole reunion thing?

Every. Single. Tour. By every band. And artist. Is. A. Money. Grab.
Seriously, it's their 9-5 job.
Thank you. I’ve seen every tour GNR have done since 06 be labelled by someone as ‘cash grab’ as if tickets should have been free or something. I’m sure they all go to work and do their job for free btw.
I notice the NITL tour is now the fourth highest grossing tour by any artist ever. Behind only U2, Stones and Coldplay. In an alternative universe GNR fans might actually be pleased with such an acheivement to see that their band still has such appeal and popularity. But no, fuck it, ‘CASH GRAB’!

Moved this to present section as it’s relevent.
Thanks for posting. As you say nothing ground breaking but nice to hear Slash actually talk about the reunion even if nothing too new or meaty.

Any info, of which there’s very little, is in the leaks thread.
We don’t need a second one.

I got AC origins as well. Not played a lot yet but what I’ve seen looks stunning. It’s a great world to explore.
Not really played AC since 3 but the combat system is different, not sure I like it but may just need to get used to it. Also wish they’d drop the present day stuff.

Merry Christmas guys!

I said in another thread, if new GNR material is the plan then all solo stuff gets dropped like a stone. The only project that can’t be dropped as easily is Axl/DC but we don’t know the status of that anyway.
Not that this news confirms anything from a GNR pov but I’d expect Myles to know his own plans.
Would be great to see them hit the festivals next year with a new single on the radio, let alone an album.

Is that the longest GNR show ever or does that Japan one from 09 still beat it?
#189 Re: Guns N' Roses » Where do Guns N' Roses Go from here? » 395 weeks ago
I tend to think the side projects could be dropped like a stone if required. Whilst a return to Myles would suggest no plans for new GNR material that could easily change.
The only one that’s too big to just drop is AC/DC. If Axl is wanting to do it again and Angus wants him then that is a pretty large time commitment that would put GNR on the back burner. With that said events of recent weeks may have changed things. Angus has lost two brothers in the last month, that may motivate him to kick on and do more AC/DC with the time he has. Conversely he may decide to step back and focus on family. With Cliff gone as well the guy’s got to half rebuild the band, at this point in time that might be a task he no longer wants. I wouldn’t be surprised if Axl/DC never happens again.
