#1871 Re: The Sunset Strip » Most Recent Movie You've Seen » 917 weeks ago
I watched the first half of Oceans 13 this past weekend. If you have the chance to watch this movie...dont. Its was horrible. I could only sit through the first hour. I cant put my finger on exactly what I found wrong with the movie. But I think part of it was, they all just seemed so damn pretentious. I'm sure it wasn't meant to come off that way, but it just seemed like there were certain scenes that were there for no other reason but to make sure you realized exactly how cool Brad Pitt or George Clooney are.
I like 13. Hated Oceans 12 and Oceans 11 is still by far the best but I thought 13 was actually pretty good.

What's the "Ric Flair story"?
Vince basically said to him the next time he loses he has to retire. Meaning he most likely won't lose until Wrestlemania next year. He started off by beating Orton on Raw (with help from Jericho).
#1873 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy given a Feb. 12 release date on Amazon UK » 917 weeks ago
I thought it had been listed for a Feb 12th release on Amazon for a while now? Either way it doesn't matter, it'll be as accurate and as likely as the last 3,000 dates HMV, Amazon etc have listed.

Yeah I liked the first one, I liked the second film as well with Penguin in although not as much, the other sucked. Batman Begins is great though, the best Batman film imo.

On msn.com one of todays article is 'pop's most disasterous comebacks' there's a picture of the Spice Girls, Michael Jackson, Vanilla Ice and Axl. The article talks about various failed or doomed comebacks, this is what they said about Axl/GNR's.
Not so much a failed comeback as a permanently delayed one. The biggest band in the world in the early 1990s, GNR were effectively rendered obsolete when grunge hit the mainstream. They released one poorly received album of punk covers, 1994's The Spaghetti Incident?, before imploding, leaving megalomaniac frontman Axl Rose as the only surviving original member. He has been working on GNR's comeback album, allegedly titled Chinese Democracy, since 1999.

Not big news or anything exciting but as there's very little news on the GNR front and it's been staring at me all day everytime I connect to the internet so I thought I'd post it.

Sounds like another Tracii Guns to me, someone who was on the same scene as GNR but got left behind when GNR rocketed into the stratosphere and has ended up bitter and jealous.

Her biography...?
She apparently doesn't realize that all Guns N' Roses fans have been reduced to "internet stalking" people to get any news regarding their favorite band.
God that made me laugh.
It's such a shame it's true

I remember hearing about a harp appearing on CD a while back but had forgotten about it, I seem to remember someone mentioning Prostitute as one of the tracks she featured on?
