On the main forum page when it shows all the different sections, on the far right it doesnt have what threads were last posted in, it just says that time and date of the post and who it was by. Is there any way to fix that?
Unfortunately this is a major bug that I am already working at fixing. Due to some clashes with the coding used to power this board the admins were offered a choice of having either what you asked for (Thread titles in "Last Post Column") or sub-forums. They made the decision to keep the subforums and allowed me some extra time to find a fix for the bug you bought up.
I should have it solved within a few days

I honestly dont know any of them. I think number #3 is "meet the fuckers" or something like that
#1843 Re: Guns N' Roses » Comparing Axl Rose to the greats » 923 weeks ago
Cobain, Cornell, Reznor etc. being on the level bellow that. Had some hits and a fan base, but never on the iconic level of household names like Guns N' Roses, Zeppelin and The Beatles.
I believe that in 20 years Trent Reznor will be looked back upon as one of the greatest songwriters of his time. There is still some kind of mythology surrounding Trent that will continue to drive his name into the masses. Axl lost his mythology when he stepped out at the VMA's in 2002 I'd say.

Im Will, 22, living in Dundee, Scotland.
I'm hoping that the new RoV will bring out some more of the excellent discussions that would have been found on the old board.

Could we get the signatures to look like signatures and not part of your post? Make the text smaller, or quoted or something?
Use an image
Or quote marks
I'll see if I can drop it down a few lines to seperate it from the actual posts
#1846 Re: Guns N' Roses » Tommy Stinson update » 923 weeks ago
Will have a better read of this later A little too stoned to understand right now haha.
Is this just the song Light Of Day from VGH being released in a different format? Or does it include some kickass Sorry Ma-era version of the song that warrants me buying it again?
Tommy rocks, always has and always will

It still has a few bugs (listed below) but we'll be working to iron those out over the coming days/weeks.
Bugs
Firefox - Background images scroll with the text.
Internet Explorer - The homepage buggers up if you keep the chat window open. Everything goes out of position, though the chat itself still works.
If you know of other bugs post it here and we'll find a fix.
Note : You are able to keep the chat window open and still browse the forum as normal. Click "Toggle Chat" to open the chatroom and then just browse the forum as normal. If someone replies in the chat window it still updates
Edit : Another bug.... If you keep the chat window open whilst browsing the forum the chat window doesn't automatically jump to the last message posted in the chat room. We should be able to fix that soon but for the time being just scroll
#1850 Re: Guns N' Roses » Comparing Axl Rose to the greats » 923 weeks ago
There really is no comparison. Axl Rose, while a very talented musician, is not in the class of the timeless legends. He holds up better against his peers, but even there Cobain, Reznor and others were far more influential.
Axl just has a much stricter quality control over what he releases, whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen ~ Chinese Democracy is the ultimate test, no wonder he is taking his time to get it right.
I won't get into a Cobain discussion but he was heavily influenced by people like Paul Westerberg, yet you don't see Pauls name popping up in the most-influential lists; and thats a fucking shame more than anything else
