Mm, not sure I fancy a festival. Really pisses me off the way they expect you to buy tickets on trust and only then announce the bands. Fuck that. Hopefully they'll play some additional UK dates - or I could do what I did last time and schedule a trip to Dublin to visit the family around a GN'R gig...

Um, does anyone have a copy of that live version of TWAT from Lisbon? It seems to have vanished from YouTube, which is annoying - it's much better than the Hammerstein version...

The normal non-fan people I've played new GN'R stuff to really responded to the more trad stuff - TWAT, Street of Dreams, Catcher, even IRS. Shackler's... not so very much.

Seriously, it'd be properly awesome if Pittman learned how to play that thing - he could rock out at the front of the stage with the rest of the band.

Aye that was pretty good, I hope the album version solos becomes sacred and pretty much unchanged like Sweet Child and Jungle have in live shows, despite their creators being absent.
Well, I spoke to Bumble a while back, and he said he's having killswitches put in all his guitars so he can play the Buckethead solos more accurately.

Oh....and I think I'm the only person on Earth who wants this, but please lose Jungle as the opener and replace it with CD.
You're not the only one. Jungle should be shifted to later in the set ('specially now that we don't have Robin around to deliver that teasing intro).
