The more I think about it I'm willing to bet the new Star Wars is going to kick ass. The prequels suck so hard so expectations have been lowered considerably add to it how cool the new Star Trek was I think the possbility of Star Wars being awesome again is very real.
Fan made but sill looks fucking cool.

Nothing Disney does will make them responsible for fucking up the franchise. That's been done already.
Exactly. Lucas ruined the franchise with the prequels. Worrying that Disney will screw them up even more is like worrying that an iceberg is going to dive down and hit the Titanic again.
The prequels are not great movies, but they are Star Wars.
True. Terrible movies under the Star Wars banner. Worst case scenario we get another terrible movies albeit with more visually appealing effects(than the prequels) under the Star Wars banner.
Jar Jar Abrams will probably make an entertaining movie, but expect to see tits and girl power make it's mark on the series.
And this would be a problem because Star Wars has never had strong female chaacters in scantily clad outfits? 
I really liked the latest Star Trek movie. Hated Cloverfield and was fairly underwhelmed by Super 8.

Well I do have clothing without U2 logos ad tend to wear them from time to time 
I actually have a burgandy U2 hoodie. I think I posted a picture in the picture thread with me wearing it. I don't have U2 mittens

This isn't a battle or an argument. No one has to agree with me.
Izzy is weird. He doesn't like the spotlight because he can't handle it. He couldn't handle too many one off shows, either. He couldn't handle success, even worse than any other guy in the band. He can't handle working with lead singers. He can't handle tours. Slash and Duff went through more than Izzy and they didn't have a breakdown that effects them today. He's a bigger recluse than Axl. What we have are two guys with big hang ups, but one is relegated to being a headcase because you don't like him. The other is propped up as a hero with personality quirks, because you do like him. I'm not discussing who's better looking, you guys can have at that.
Mikka is right, there is an Izzy myth. It's not a knock. It's not an attack. He's a weird dude.

Wow. Izzy didn't like touring so he stopped. Izzy had enough of the lead singers bullshit so he left. Izzy didn't want to be a junkie so he stopped. Izzy who is 1/100th as popular as Axl is just as big a recluse as Axl? Maybe Izzy was the only one who saw his own life as more important than Guns N' Roses and knew Gn'R wasn't what defines him and he'd be just fien with leaving. Makes it easy to walk away when you're well adjusted and deep down have your priorities straight. You think Izzy's "breakdown" from over 20 years ago is affecting him to this day? Do tell what in the hell you base that on? The fact he's living his life doing whatever he wants to do without media attention? Seems like some pretty adverse effects doesn't it.

Hmmm... to me he's probably the most well adjusted of them all. And no ID I don't know Axl at all but I sure as hell know enough to make a well formulated opinion that Axl is a massive nutcase. Again what in the last 20 years validates your opinion that Izzy is a bigger nutcase than Axl? the fact he's successfully shunned the spotlight of celebrity? Good one.

Hmmm.... kinda weird having the guy who did the new Star Treks do the new Star Wars. I liked the new Star Trek movie though. Not sure if I should just prepare for a Star Trek movie with lightsabers or what? May the force live long and prosper I guess.

I watched Cabin in the Woods last night for the first time. I had heard good things about it so my expectations were a tad higher than they should've been and it was a massive let down. It seemed interesting at first and I did find it kinda creepy to begin with but then the fucking zombies came and it turned into a complete joke. One of the most fucking stupid 2nd halfs to a movie I have ever seen. TERRIBLE.
We also have watched Pitch Perfect a couple times recently, and I'm totally into that movie as well. It's one of those that will be in heavy rotation in the blu-ray player for a while.
I thought that movie was hilarious.

Yes, he is completely unpredictable. I have everything to support my opinion. When he was in the band, none of the band knew what he was going to do next. I remember following the last year he was in the band and knew it was over the day he was on a plane, pissed himself, punched a female flight attendant and laughed about it. He's a weird dude. Even more weird than Axl.
Oh I see. So everything to support your opinion is what took place over 20 years ago when the guy was a junkie and then decided to clean himself up and leave the band.
