#172 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Guns N' Roses Member, Quarter Final 2 » 508 weeks ago

I voted Dizzy for a few reasons smile

1) Every band member deserves at least one vote
2) "The Air" shows incredible promise for Dizzy as a songwriter.
3) I disagree with Slash being hailed a "guitar hero" when I personally think Izzy is 10x more valuable to GNR
4) Slash tries too hard to appear cool and keep up appearances in the media imo.
5) Dizzy's promos are the bollocks 22

Wow thanks Atari, haven't heard any of this before. Listening to the Lusk album now. I didn't realise Pitman was actually a band member in Lusk, we'd better revise his discography here on the site smile

Awesome, thanks Evader, will give them both a listen now! I was just listening to some of your mixes the other day and stumbled on your Spanish TWAT. Don't recall ever hearing that one before and loved it big_smile

That video interview with Pitman is from at least last year isn't it? I remember seeing it ages ago and everyone being mad about his "no album" comment back then too smile

Also, I think Pitman is awesome 16 He doesn't release my style of music, and I can see why fans don't think he belongs in a GNR reunion, but I love all of the below which is Pitmans work:

Sad to hear sad He visited Orkney many years ago and was a guest at the hotel where my girlfriend worked at the time. He'd asked her for directions and she sent him in completely the wrong direction by mistake but said he was really sweet about it when he returned. I couldn't believe it when she told me she'd met Hans Gruber and Snape big_smile

#177 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R Reunion Prediction » 508 weeks ago

I had a dream about the reunion last night 16 It ended with me in tears because I missed the show (which was in London btw, not Coachella). I'd got shitfaced with Adler at my brothers wedding, then Izzy/Duff walked in and said we were both banned from the concert 14

This is the first and hopefully last time I ever dream about GNR. Much prefer the ones with Scarlett Johansen or Kiera Knightley tongue

#178 Re: Guns N' Roses » Looks like rehearsals have started! » 509 weeks ago

I've only heard Snakepit 1 & 2, and Contraband. That was more than enough for me to not bother wasting money on Slash CD's anymore 16 If there on Spotify I'll give them a listen tomorrow as Ive heard he has a couple of killer songs (Anastasia is one I always see mentioned)

Another vote for Tommy here. Nothing against Bucket at all, but I think when you compare Tommys discography to Buckets there is a more consistent level of high quality.
