I don't think Hard Skool is about Slash like most people think, I think it's about Izzy.

I always thought the quintessential GN'R performance, the one I'd show first to a newbie, was the 1988 VMAs performance of WTTJ. One of their most iconic songs performed by the OG band, Axl and Slash wearing their most iconic threads, and one of Axl's better vocal performances.
One of my favorites too. The whole thing just oozes rock and roll in its truest form. Love this performance.

Do any bands release singles on vinyl these days? Like any?
I only ever see full length releases on vinyl nowadays.
That's what I was thinking. No way in hell they release a record with just absurd on it. We shall see, I still don't believe shit is coming until its in my hands but this adds a tiny tiny piece of hope that maybe something that resembles a full release is coming.

I think I remember now. Evo launched 13th October 2007 because all the user registration dates were reset on launch or something. That's the date in my profile.
Brody damn, I had forgotten about him! He didn't post much though.
ROV was Unleashed peeps who wanted to start a forum in response to Jarmo selling out?
Unleashed came out of things with Brody not working out. Kinda a middle step to Evo. If I'm remembering correct. I smoked a lot of pot in those days.

Must be earlier. I registered in that month and the site was already off the ground then with a fair amount of threads, and it was still called ROV.
I thought I registered in 06. Can't believe I stuck out with Jarmo's bs for that long.
On a side note, does anyone remember Regal94 from 2000 Intentions forum? He's the guy who inspired me to make my first thread way back. A real jester.
Maybe some point in 2005 for ROV I think. I wanna day summer of 05 but I can't remember that far back.

Possibly that. I also think absurd isn't really a track the casual fan will listen to twice. Kinda a hey look what's this and then a oh well that's certainly something. Hardschool has more replay potential. If it ever gets released we shall see.

The anniversary actually happened in March or April.
I wish I could remember the exact date when ROV got off the ground.
I think it was a couple weeks after the 2006 leaks started. Before those instrumentals leaked a bit later, it was already on like Donkey Kong.

He probably meant with Slash and Duff on board I'd imagine. Maybe he's stoned. There's some good trees in Colorado.
