I could almost understand them getting upset if they had some grand master plan and this somehow detailed that. But what are the chances of that? They’ve given us no inclination that there’s any means to an end here. We got two singles a few years back and the god damn physical release was like a year later and even that was delayed. If they were even the slightest bit open and honest or ever spoke aboit anything noteworthy, this shit probably wouldn’t happen. But everything is shrouded in secrecy, so this is what we get. And we don’t get upset. It’s not worth losing sleep over anymore. We all learned that long ago.

Spot on.  I just laugh at them at this point.  It's really funny/weird how they seem to be in their own bizzaro world regarding this stuff.  The  secrecy stuff got old years ago.  And it isn't 1991 anymore.

I do find it dumb how they delete this stuff (live clips uploaded by fans etc..) that would help them in the long run.

They got the 40 and 50 somethings 6-7 years ago with the 90s nostalgia angle. If they can’t get Gen Xers to shell out $25 for a Friday night show in 70 degree weather, they really need to reassess their marketing.  This show has been on every major billboard around here for months.

I think it's basically a "one off" tour as far as casuals go.  If you've seen them once in the last few year's, there's no real reason to go again.  I mean they aren't offering anything new.  And you can claim to have already seen the reunited version.  It's different if you're a hardcore/or mega fan.

They gotta count themselves lucky that the ticket sales have only started to plateau this time around.  They basically need something else to hook in casuals.  Because they obviously aren't buying tickets.

Sigh.  How can they be so tone deaf on this stuff?  The leaks get people talking about your band and gives it free pub and generates interest in the product (and might lead to more ticket sales).

Instead they go with the usual response which will piss off a bunch of people.

Yeah, feels the same (although I never had a Camaro and am reaching 42).

Having said that, and I never thought I would think this way, Slash is ruining the CD era songs. If it wasn't for the leaks we would never compare, but his contributions are boring, not inspired nor inspiring and just sound like a first take with no effort.

It's the same problem w/Ron's contributions to the album: it just sounds pasted on and inorganic and weird.  At least Slash's contributions sound a lot more interesting in Old School but here it's sticks out for what it isn't.

This is why he should have released most of this stuff in 2000-2002.

This was underwhelming.  Not bad, just eh that's it reaction from me.  They/He didn't fix the chorus issues.  It just sounds like a b single.  I think I  prefer the demo /locker leak version to be honest.

How did we get from one or two singles to ONE album?  That part is not really believable to me.

Too funny…..shit show with new old music…there will be another “postponement” by Monday

That's the only thing you can reliably count on from these guys.  Delays and just reasons to not release any new music.

That one is up there in terms of total streams/listens.  It's somewhere in the top 15.

Just looked it was 12.

The news out of Maui is a fucking tragedy.

So many awesome historic places just gone. The city-block-long Banyan tree might not survive.

Mick Fleetwood’s restaurant, which was a cool Fleetwood Mac museum with vintage photos and instruments, is ash.

Fucking hell.

Basically an entire main town, Lahaina, just got wiped out and destroyed by those fires.  Like, it doesn't exist anymore, just rubble.  And a lot of those residents whose homes got destroyed need help.  A lot of those people are working class/and just get by.  So it's double devastating for those people.
