Sounds good indeed - is that Axl sampled and patched in there? I'm guessing he wasn't present at soundcheck...
It actually sounded like he’s singing over a backing track but in a low register. Could be wrong but I liked what I heard. Slash’s guitar is phenomenal from what’s there. Like he’s made this song his own
I like that Slash has busted out the talk box for the solo. Gives it a classic Guns sound

Perhaps/The General singles this year?
If that's real....we may be getting a real EP...
4-6 songs....maybe 8 but that's pushing it.
Perhaps
Atlas or Oklahoma
The GeneralThey could add Absurd and Hard School to pad it out.
Listening to that Perhaps clip again. They may have improved the song. They need to shake some speed on this....
Listened to those soundcheck clips again. It's really hard to tell....it could be Oklahoma...or something else. We needed a longer clip.
Where does it say an EP is coming, or are you just speculating?

We have no idea how they changed Atlas. This gives AS vibes
That doesn’t anything like Atlas though. The piano parts are definitely from Perhaps
But who knows with this band…

Probably would be Fridays. Those are release days for songs and albums now.
There doesn’t seem to be particular days for releases anymore. Foo Fighters and Metallica put out songs on various days. It doesn’t have to be Friday anymore

Fucken GN’R. So many of us were ready to say “fuck this band” for not releasing anything in 2023, and here we are about to maybe get something new released…
Fuck I hate this band
Edit. And when I say “new” I mean a 20 year old demo reworked.
Fuck I really hate this band

This exchange happened yesterday.
4tus being his usual cryptic dickhead self.
“and something else you don’t know about”
Just fuck off with your carrot dangling shit.

I’ll admit this album isn’t for everyone, and if you come in fresh just listening to a couple of songs, you’re more likely to say “WTF is this shit?”
But if you’ve been on the journey with them throughout their career, and followed their progression as a band, especially from their last album, then this album is almost the logical next step.
And it gets better with each listen.

Forget GN’R.
If you want a band pushing the boundaries of what is expected of a rock band, you should follow these guys instead.
The new album is a melting pot of styles that Axl could only dream of.
It’s completely bonkers, in a good way.
#129 Re: Guns N' Roses » 2023 Tour Dates » 126 weeks ago
Yeah, 31 songs for the opening night of a tour is pretty impressive.
Bad Obsession sounded pretty great, as did Pretty Tied Up, though Axl gets out of time around the 3 minute mark of PTU and never recovers.
It still amazes me the Axl can fuck up timing so bad while the rest of the band just carries on around him like nothing happened.
Anything Goes sounded good instrumentally, but full Mickey vocals.
Haven’t seen any footage of Down on the Farm yet.

As long as the big $$$$ keep coming in for GN’R, Slash isn’t going anywhere. If he gets frustrated at no new music in GN’R, he goes off and does SMKC for a bit, then comes back to GN’R again for the $$$$
It’s a shame that these are the only two outlets Slash considers. SMKC are a tight rock n roll band, but they’ve run out of ideas and everything sounds the same now.
I wish he’d hook up with a singer with some grit and balls to make new music, that would compliment his guitar playing. Seeing as Axl doesn’t take advantage of this…
