Really tempted to head to Vegas but need to try and swing it with my missus 
I can get flights for £600 return which is a lot cheaper than when I last looked (£1400). With gig tickets on top, plus the cost of my ferry to/from Orkney, plus the hotel costs I think I'm looking at about £1500 in total though that'd be shitty seats

Izzy: The whole vibe of that movie--I think I went back and watched it like three times. I ended up getting the soundtrack; it got me
really excited, and it just kind of came off of that.
I've always liked surf guitar, and over the past couple of years I've really gotten into the Ventures, all that stuff. Then I saw "Pulp Fiction" and it got me really fired up - I headed straight for the guitar.
More likely that Izzy is a Tarantino fan, so I'll be taking that star thanks

Is their a landfill out in the desert with thousands of Vegas 01/01 DVDs alongside copies of ET on the Atari They managed to excavate those Atari cartridges after 30+ years so let's get researching and see where the discs would have been dumped

Unless Izzy was in the crowd that night I very much doubt it More likely that he likes the song, or just watched Reservoir Dogs

Barring an AFD shindig, IMO whatever lineup takes the stage in Vegas is the permanent/final lineup of GNR. It's actually a good thing. The revolving door needs to be closed, have a solid/stable lineup and go on at least a 2-3 year run. Do it Soundgarden style and start unloading the vault in stages during the tours.
I actually think we've got a 5 year window for this but the next couple years likely to be the most exciting of their run.
A stable lineup, 2-3 year tour, and the vault being unloaded..... I love your optimism! The alternative though is that Axl might take his millions from doing these 6 shows and then disappear back into his mansion for years on end

The only reason I'm guessing James made this post is to highlight Izzys importance to Guns. Were Slash not involved in this reunion (and Izzy were) he'd probably be making the list which Smoking Guns suggested If Izzy does get onboard for the reunion we can all expect an explosion in threads about Adlers importance to the Guns sound, which he very much is!
