I posted this in the GN’R thread, but no one has said anything about it.
Seems like pretty interesting news, just not the news we want (new GN’R album)

New Slash solo album out next year. More along the lines of the 2010 album with guest singers, but this one will apparently be more blues oriented.

But as for his possibly most anticipated future project — long-rumored new GNR music — he plays coy again. “It comes out when it comes out,” he says with a big grin. “So, you know, just stay tuned.”

You are talking about Duff…..we are referring to the tour manager

No, I’m talking about the tour manager. We discussed his recent comments a few pages back.

And now those videos of him have been removed

While you guys are shooting the shit, GNR’s tour manager says a single is coming any day and they have a lot of stuff already recorded…..same old same old but the guy who said it seems credible

Yeah Tom Mayhue, apparently he has worked for them for 35 years or somthing crazy. Thing is he also said it knowing he was being filmed, I doubt he would have if Axl wasn't fine with it. I just wish that guy didn't cut him off in the video to ask him some radom question about where he lived

This was discussed a few pages back. Videos have since been removed.

The GN’R Scooby Doo shitshow continues…

An update from everyone here, Axl's tour manager said this: "And I know the band's gonna start working on new music - they've got a bunch of stuff recorded already - there will be new Guns N' Roses music very soon. In fact, I think they're trying to get a single out, like any day now. So you may hear something very, very soon."

Very good news from a person near to Axl

He also says the new music is very Appetite oriented. He said that when they recorded AFD, they did 29 songs, but only 11 made the album (it was actually 12).

Does anyone else find this interesting and bizarre that for one, I’ve never heard that they recorded close to 30 songs for AFD, and that they’re now apparently revisiting those leftover songs nearly 40 years later.

Only in the world of GN’R…

Awesome proshot footage of CoC in a club recently. Met a woman who claimed to be Pepper’s mom (I think in Hawaii 2014). She saw my GnR shirt and said her son was Pepper in CoC and played with GnR in the 90s. Not sure when that was but fuck it I believe it.

GN’R had so many people walk through their door in the 90’s after the band imploded, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Pepper jammed with them or something.

He did audition for the bass player spot in Metallica too, so maybe he did really jam with GN’R back then as well

“Not worth the costs” was probably his mindset pre-NITL era. Surely he has more than enough millions in the bank to get it back now.

Fuck this movie. Like the Disney Star Wars sequels – the first one in particular – it's like a Greatest Hits compilation of bits you liked from the previous films (Indiana Jones punches Nazis on a moving vehicle! Crumbling ruins with puzzles and booby traps!) while adding in backstory that utterly undermines the happy ending of the previous film and reframes every moment of the preceding films as part of a tragic arc.

I honestly didn’t feel that way at all. While it wasn’t without its faults and flaws, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

SMKC are resuming touring in January 2024, so I guess that puts a stop to any new GN’R songs coming out any time soon…

Read the circled part. It’s listening to mixes of the live show.

NOT. NEW. MUSIC.

Im aware that the guy works on live recordings.

It doesn't change anything...does he only work on live recordings?

It can't be a coincidence that this picture comes out when people are expecting something. GNR doesn't have a lengthy track record keeping us updated...and how often have they kept us up to speed on listening to live mixes of previous shows in preparation for the next show?

It's essentially a coin flip...and I'll remain cautiously optimistic regardless of how many concerts one of the guys in the studio has mixed.

It might be a coincidence, but nothing GN’R (Axl) does ever makes sense.

I’m sticking with the idea that they were listening to live mix of the Tons of Rock gig (which is what it says), to most likely better prepare for Glastonbury.

If we get new music coming soon, that would be great, but this recent photo doesn’t confirm anything to do with that.
