Yeah that recent Ghost record was solid DCK. I wish they'd do more instrumental stuff on their albums ala Metallica.
Took me a while, but I've become a big Ghost fan. That last album was just massive. I've seen them twice in concert.

I was toying of making a list to see how close I have been to terrorist attacks today.
I think one day away from London 7/7 bombings is the closest I ever was.
I stopped by Brussels Airport in 2014, so its been a while.

He handled the departure poorly, but I'm not sure he could speak freely about it. This is GNR. It's all awkward. We don't even know who's the in the damn band. Well, anyway, I knew he was out (we all knew) and when I visited the States in March last year my source told me he was out, but that Ron couldn't speak about it. I said "oh, ok" because this is after all GNR. I didn't really blame Ron at all for it.

God, I hope not. Heard what they've made on their own and I'm not impressed.
Someone mentioned it already.
Until they change approach, my GNR fandom is lukewarm right now. At best. Just nostalgia, and what worse - it's nostalgia with the wrong bloody band.
It wasn't what I was hoping for.
I have good hopes for DJ. The guy can write the shit. Bumblefoot I am more skeptical to. Nothing in his solo stuff is interesting, and his cooperation with
Tony Harnell was one of the biggest disappointments of 2013.
