Danny Gatton was an insanely talented guitarist who mixed up rockabilly, jazz, and country styles to create his own styles. Not all of it is to my taste but if you play you'll appreciate how insanely difficult his stuff was, plus he had tiny stubby fat fingers and should not have been able to play what he played.

In comparison, just look at what Slash can accomplish on about a tenth of the budget.
If Slash had a singer that was universally adored like Axl, his triumph would be complete.
