Pretty cool they did Out Ta Get Me second song today. We give them shit on the set list but they are far less beholden to one than other touring acts.

Duff basically confirmed that Frank was fired in a recent interview

He says Frank is a lovely guy…then says Adler was basically the best drummer for GnR and also backhand compliments Matt. My question is this…what happened after 9 years to make the change? Do Duff and Slash have more power? Add in Axl being vocally pissed at Isaac for the Brownstone fuck up. I’m feeling we are seeing the last of this touring entity.

Slash stays pretty true to May’s solo on the demos. I wonder if that’s just reverence.

If Bucket came out on stage at a show it would be maybe the biggest bone they could throw to forum junkies (looking at you, James)…honestly if they brought Bucket out for an extended dueling TWAT solo I’d be more interested than how the current band reworked village leaks.

Why Monsters wasn’t released with The General is beyond me (like most things with this band). Releasing whatever Nothing became before that is very much on par with fucking Silkworms being the first “new” song they released.

That setlist also doesn’t have Bad Obsession and has LALD as an alt so take it with a grain of salt.

Haven't seen any of the clips yet. What has been the consensus on the new drummer?
Hope a reworked Atlas is in the pipeline - could be the best of the leftovers potentially.
The consensus is people who didn’t like Frank think he is amazing. The people who did like Frank think he’s fine. The reality is it doesn’t matter because you’re there to see Axl and Slash.

Weird how they kick into the song without the droning note. Also of note they didn’t play YCBM, and Duff didn’t have a solo spot. First show is usually lighter though.
