Atlas is still trash. But Nothin is growing on me..Slash really elevated the song. The vocals melodies are quite good as well.
Monsters still takes the crown from these new old songs.
This is my sentiment as well. It's borderline tragedy that Monsters is just gathering dust. It's everything you'd expect of a "current" GN'R track. Love the bridge and the guitar licks that lead into it.
Having said that....Nothin is a fucking banger. Vocals are nice and melodies are great but, Slash shines on this track. He really takes it to that next level.

Attended a Queens of the Stone Age concert and they absolutely rocked. IMO the tightest live performers out there. However, The Kills were their opening act. I had heard one of their songs prior to this. I was absolutely blown away. I was a big fan of the garage rock revival of the 00's but these guys slipped under my radar.
Needless to say I have been spinning their discography very heavily. Better late than never I guess.

What’s next? A pic with Bob Guccionne Jr? Mick Wall? Calvin Klein?
NO, Guccionne Jr. is still pissed that his dad gets more pussy posthumously.

I'll address the elephant in the room. How the fuck did Nothing go from a trip-hop, elevator music piece of shit, to this banger? I'm getting By the Sword vibes from Slash's lead. Axl could last minute re-record the vocals on his worst day and I would still purchase whatever ep or lp that has this track. In my day we called this a single.

Nothing sounds pretty great and very fleshed out.

I'm not anywhere near in the loop. However, all these rumblings and rumors have me in the camp that at the very least a "new" release is on the horizon. Whether it's an official release by the camp or another scrumptious dinner released through other means.

My favorite Reddit post tonight....
QUICK somebody get a cooler full of mail in ballots to PA STAT
Statements like this make me feel like I should've voted for Harris. If we can't agree that the orange guy lost in 2020, then what common ground do we have? Trump lost the 2020 election. I voted for that crazy guy today. How do you expect to bring aboard people like me? This tocix cycle is doomed to repeat itself again no matter who is running. Does anyone on this forum really think he won in 2020?

I am not proud in my vote, but I know in the long run, this will bring the better.

Progressives pushed me out. You’re going through what I did in 2020
Sorry for the rapid replies, but I'm actually feeling all of this. As a self described slightly left of center guy, I feel alienated by both parties. I voted for McCain, Obama, Hillary and Biden. This cycle, I didn't feel anyone aligned with my eclectic positions. I think Donny is the most unqualified, least intelligent person to ever enter the political realm. I still feel that way to a certain extent, but I feel like even if were to boost his own ego, he would do more than Harris. I know that shouldn't feel bad for making a civic choice, but it speaks volumes that a "centrist" like me would even consider voting for a literal idiot. Ugh can we keep my voting choice strictly on evo, lol.
